Today's AI frontier news in English: 17 top stories — GPT-6 full rollout, Haiku 5.5's 90% price cut, and Australia's push for mandatory AI licensing. https://t.co/PskPq8XTzs
The most unexpectedly delightful AI short-film skill I’ve seen this week. Lemo-Opuscar turned the whole workflow into a plugin: 43 visual styles, from hand-drawn and printmaking to old cinema. You give it a story, the AI writes the code and directs, and it handles the score and narration too. A short takes 30 to 60 minutes and burns quite a few tokens, but what comes out you can edit line by line yourself.https://t.co/HmhTO1Z72y
🔍 Here's where I look when I want a new Skill for Claude Code or Codex. I run an AI directory, so I end up doing this a lot.
💻 Matt Pocock (@mattpocockuk) His repo is called "Skills for Real Engineers" and it comes straight from his own .agents directory. It has grill-me, where the agent questions you about your plan before it builds anything, and a TDD skill. If you code with an agent and want it to ask first and test first, start here. https://t.co/IfK3qVno5S
📄 Anthropic's official repo anthropics/skills is the public repo of Agent Skills from Anthropic. The document skills for docx, pdf, pptx and xlsx live there, along with frontend-design. If you've never installed a Skill, I'd install these first and look at community ones after. https://t.co/6T60elQ3YD
📣 Corey Haines (@coreyhainesco) His marketingskills repo covers copywriting, SEO, conversion optimization, analytics and growth, built for Claude Code and other agents. Useful if you're a founder or marketer who writes your own copy. https://t.co/dnTc6cN7nI
🧭 One directory, not a person: https://t.co/EYqiCDr1ZP Vercel runs an open directory of agent skills with a leaderboard, and you install with npx skills add. Searching "Claude skills" on X also shows you new repos before any list catches up.
⚠️ I haven't audited any of these. Before installing a Skill, open its SKILL.md. If it runs scripts, read those too.
🌐 I review the nice ones I find and write short bilingual recommendations here. Got a Skill or a creator I should look at? Reply and tell me. 👇
