@AmericaByDesign A woman got prison for life for transporting cocaine, which was her ONLY crime, because the judge was forced to. It makes you think about our justice system and how flawed it is.

@AmericaByDesign It really goes to show how the president can have major effects on communities in America, like how Nixon's claim of a war on crime caused an insane increase of arrests on black people for protesting for their rights during the civil rights movement.

@AmericaByDesign It was crazy to see how the black and latino communities were targeted because of the harsher penalties on crack than cocaine, which was more "sophisticated" and "suburban".
