And also I have this platform to thank for making so many amazing connections and friends that I know will be there for life.
Its crazy that I curse this platform so much when in fact it's given me so much. I should try to remember all this.
Anyway I'll shut up now. Thank you!
I have to thank the likes of Jim and Paul because without their generous gestures, we'd never have got off the ground.
It's important to remember where you started and where you came from. Whenever I speak to them on a show I make sure I thank them and I'll thank them now too.
.. Started to tweet stats and tagging the likes of @paul_tomkins @JimBoardman. These generous folks RT'd my tweets and because Twitter was a different animal back then, RTs actually gained you followers. I had 10k followers in week 1. Things changed rapidly and I had an audience.
When I first started the site as a pure stats site in Feb 2011, I was so fucking nervous that it would fail. I was so fucking scared of publishing articles and putting stats together. I would shit myself every single day. And then Feb 6th came.
On Feb 6th we beat Chelsea and I..
To everyone who's contributed even a single spoken or written word, thank you so much for your efforts and everything you've done to make it what it is.
For those who read and listened, it's because of you we get to do what we do. Thank you too.
Here's to the next 10. 💪🏽
Just realised it's been 10 years of @AnfieldIndex as of Feb 6th.
All started with a win for Kenny at the Bridge vs Torres!
I've had so many opportunities come my way because of this, made so many amazing friends and experienced all so much.
I'm thankful for it all. ❤️
