We stand with Ivan Toney and are working with Brentford to identify those who sent racist abuse.
At Arsenal we condemn all forms of discrimination and take a zero tolerance approach. We will apply the strongest possible action to anyone we can identify sending hateful messages.
The incompetence of officials in this country never fails to amaze me. There’s no way a referee can ‘forget’ to draw an offside line, they must think we are stupid. The worst bit is Lee Mason will be back refereeing in no time at all. Referees have zero accountability 🤡
Im not deleting this tweet but I no longer can connect to it. I agree with myself (lol) that a draw may have been “fair” but fair’s got nothing to do with it. “Forgetting” to draw lines for offside on a VAR review isn’t the average ref decision going against us. It cost us 2 pts
Chris Foy (PGMOL): “The truth is that VAR didn’t fully investigate with the lines. The lines, simply, didn’t go down. And that counts as human error. Had the lines gone down the goal would have been disallowed for offside.”
PGMOL can confirm its Chief Refereeing Officer Howard Webb has contacted both Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion to acknowledge and explain the significant errors in the VAR process in their respective Premier League fixtures on Saturday.
Exc: VAR Lee Mason forgot to draw offside lines on Ivan Toney's equaliser in a mistake that could have a huge impact on Arsenal's title hopes.
Christian Norgaard was offside. Had the lines been drawn, the goal would have been disallowed.

"It's an awful error."
@alanshearer has criticised VAR for missing TWO offside Brentford players in the build up to Ivan Toney's equaliser against Arsenal 🗣

Three points, a clean sheet & that makes it 5 wins in a row for the Gunners at such a crucial point of the season! We’re flying, the performances are brilliant but professional & we’re back in the top four with 12 cup finals left to play…
Thoughts?🤔
