When I started The AI Grapple Podcast, I wanted to create a space for honest, human conversations about one of the most significant shifts of our time. For our 50th episode, I could not think of a more fitting guest to mark this milestone than the one and only @MariSmith
I recently chatted with @leehickin, Executive Director of Australiaโs National AI Centre. With the National AI Plan now released, Australia has a clear direction. If youโre running a business in Australia, this episode is worth your time. ๐๏ธ Listen now ๐๏ธ @IndustryGovAu
I love this line: "You are training your mind to explore the outer boundaries of the solution space." Thatโs exactly what the AI shift feels like - moving from optimisation to true exploration. ๐ฅ Great insights @JJ_StuJordan
@JJ_StuJordan Powerful takeaways! The "10% lift" trap is real - most people are just layering AI onto legacy workflows & wondering why the results are incremental.
โThe major unlock for me was realizing we need to stop fitting AI into current systems & start redesigning the systems for AI.
AI adoption isnโt being slowed by technology.
Itโs being slowed by people, trust, & leadership decisions. In the latest episode of the AI Grapple Podcast, Sarah Daly (AI360 Review) talks about whatโs really happening inside organisations as AI moves from experimentation to scale.
๐ก AI works best when it augments human thinking, not when we outsource responsibility to it
๐ก Used well, AI can free us up for more creative, meaningful and human work.
AI adoption isnโt a tech problem.
Itโs a human one.
In my latest episode of The AI Grapple, I sat down with futurist and author @despindola23 to talk about whatโs really happening as AI moves into everyday business life.๐ง Listen to the full episode here https://t.co/Dj3qxsWWIs
๐ก Fear in teams doesnโt disappear with tools, itโs addressed through trust, transparency and culture
๐ก Education and lifelong learning matter more now than ever, both in schools and inside organisations
A few themes really stood out for me:
๐ก AI is moving faster than any tech shift weโve seen before, and most businesses donโt know where to start
๐ก Leaders need to make a conscious choice: are you a maker, shaper or taker of AI?
๐ "AI will be just as transformative as the internet - or even more." In this episode of the AI Grapple Podcast I interviewed Simon Yencken, Founder and CEO of Fanplayr. Heโs using first-party data + real-time AI to help brands personalise without creeping people out - and without breaking privacy laws. ๐ง Listen now here: https://t.co/13ggf8HdXj or on your favourite podcast platform! #AI #Ecommerce #ArtificialIntelligence #PredictiveAnalytics #Podcast #Fanplayr #TheAIGrapple

Thatโs exactly what I explore with Dr Alessandra Wall in the latest episode of The AI Grapple. @drwallsays is a psychologist and leadership coach who helps high-performing women in tech break through burnout, bias and broken systems.
We had a powerful and practical conversation about how women can stop playing by the old rules and use AI to redefine success - on their own terms. ๐ง Listen now on your favourite podcast platform or listen here ๐ https://t.co/m1onbTl4Dd #AI #FutureOfWork #WomenInAI #WIAI
The majority of people are still outsourcing their task or job to AI and then dissolusioned when the results are mediocre. This approach will make humans 'lazy'. Those who bring their wisdom and expertise and then use AI to do more and be more and actually engage in the process...... they will become smarter and more valuable.
