It is unfortunately trending that way for many automakers. Some companies do understand, but their pace of change is nonetheless slow.
Tesla is trying to be as helpful to other carmakers as possible with the transition to autonomous electric vehicles: we open source our patents, provide access to our Superchargers and have invited them to license our self-driving AI system.
@slye I do double that. I also have not paid road tax. That's why Texas now has an EV tax when you get your reg. For drivers who do 20k or less, it's more tax than gas taxes would be. Gotta love it ๐
@JeffTutorials@GEICO I have a 22MYP and a 22MYLR. Full Coverage. 500 Deduct, best towing & rental option. MyP is 102$ Month MYLR is 69$ Month. 2 drivers.
By having fewer moving parts that require minimal maintenance, every Tesla is designed to eliminate the need for service.
Over-the-air updates continuously improve your carโmaking the software better & the hardware more efficient.
If your car does require attention, you can request & manage service entirely via the Tesla app.
Most repairs can be completed wherever you park, without visiting a service centerโour mobile technicians will come directly to you โ๏ธ
Also, remote diagnostics enable us to pinpoint problems faster or resolve the issue entirely. This reduces the time that the vehicle needs to be worked on, getting you back on the road faster
