Read this before you decide to fly China Eastern Airlines.

For me, Australia to Europe always meant Emirates or Qatar, but I decided to fly @chinaeasternair

Why?

Two reasons.
- Significant difference in prices.
- Not much difference between the total time including transit taken by Qatar/ Emirates and CE (Only 4 hours)

But I was skeptical. Why?

Because I read multiple negative reviews online for CE about poor customer service, delays, bad quality food, etc.

However...what I found was totally opposite.
- Aircraft was clean, tidy, and very well-maintained.
- The staff was courteous, polite, and super helpful at all times.
- For the first time, my vegetarian wife loved the flight food. And there was more than enough.
- No delays. Always on time.

The best part - They dropped us in Paris at 5:30 am allowing us to make the best use our first day in Paris.

But...what should you know before deciding?

- Language barrier - it was difficult at times to communicate with the staff.

- If you love fancy and happening airports, you will be disappointed.

- It was difficult to access the airport Lounge. The website to book the lounge is https://t.co/imD5aLrHo5. Good luck with that, and let me know if you are able to figure it out.

Verdict - Not a bad experience at all, especially considering a humongous price difference.
