For me, Cucurella is one of the best full backs in the world right now, with a top notch footballing game.

But the thing I like about him the most is his characteristic aspect of perseverance, tenacity and relentlessness of running up and down the field like a mad bull for the team.

I saw some highlights video of Hato, and I don’t know why, but Hato gives me the same characteristic vibe as that I feel for Cucurella. I hope I am right. Hato has already represented Ajax for more than 100 games at this very young age, which itself speaks about him.

Hope Hato joins Chelsea soon, if one Cucurella was not easy to handle by opponents then let them have another one.

According to me Estevao Willian did a good job in yesterday's match against Luton. Many are complaining about him for not being direct.

However, my expectations from him this season is that he should continue being fearless and drag the opponent defenders by taking them , as I see Rogers, Palmer, Pedro and Welback as more prominent goal scorers.

With time Estevao too shall become the goal scorer as he progresses.

It was the first match of the season, but my only worry with our defense which Fulham exploited (in this back 3 setup) was Chelsea’s wing-backs’ advanced positioning.

The advance position left a vertical corridor between them and the centre-backs and Fulham targeted that corridor with long and proportionally weighted passes.

Luckily Antonee Robinson shoot; which went above Sanchez was way off the target or the match would have been a draw.

May be other low block teams will notice it, but as you have rightly said; as we gain consistency in our gameplay, coupled with gain in fitness, we may then see a different scenario.

The experiment worked though both were not flawless, but did the job for the match.

Certainly James adaptability needs to be applauded, carried himself like a leader on the pitch.

Lavia did his job of ball progression and as usual was press resistant. He just needs to be fit for the entire season, the boy has tremendous potential.

Honestly, personally i am not that worried, reason being we don't have Europe. Lavia and Reece (although injury prone), Hendo and Caicedo are their for midfield. If any issues arises, then we can go for someone in January. Also, Blueco can surprise us within this transfer window (if any action is to taken on midfield). Let's see how it goes.
