Figures like @LauraLoomer and @SenTuberville may continue peddling their Islamophobic, anti-Palestinian, and anti-Arab rhetoric in an attempt to intimidate what is now a powerful and growing movement, but they will continue to fail.
AJP Action strongly condemns the Islamophobic attacks made by the Senator and far-right agitator Laura Loomer against Muslim Americans who participated in our Annual Advocacy Days on Capitol Hill - including the mocking of praying and practicing Muslims.
We encourage others, especially representatives and colleagues of the senator, to join our condemnation and refuse the normalization of anti-Muslim bigotry in political discourse.
One year ago, a mob of violent, illegal Israeli settlers murdered 20-year-old Palestinian American Sayfollah “Saif” Musallet on his family’s land in Sinjil – a Palestinian village located in the occupied West Bank. Sayfollah was a resident of Tampa Bay, Florida, where he helped run a family-owned ice cream shop that proudly served the community. Like many Palestinian-Americans living in exile, Sayfollah simply wanted to go back home and reconnect with his land. His murder serves as a morbid reminder of the dangers Israeli settlers and occupation forces impose on Palestinians, American or not.
One year later, Sayfollah's family is still waiting for justice. Sayfollah is one of 14 American citizens killed by violent, illegal Israeli settlers or Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) since 2003.
TAKE ACTION: CALL ON CONGRESS TO DEMAND JUSTICE FOR SAYFOLLAH MUSALLET

Israel detained a sitting member of the U.S. Congress for attempting to document the violence and abuses Palestinians endure under its occupation. @RoKhanna
Is this enough for the Democratic establishment to believe that Israel is an inhumane, apartheid state? That we must end allowing this entity to act with impunity must be the universal position of the Democratic Party. If settlers, backed in full by the Israeli government, can detain a member of Congress with impunity, imagine what Palestinians endure daily.
Israeli settlers, brandishing American made M4s, detained me & other Americans on my trip to Palestine.
When the IDF arrived, they sided with the settlers & continued our detention.
They made a huge mistake.
You will be hearing more soon. https://t.co/rZw8bRAn64
Despite the aid convoy being coordinated with Israel via the UN, the IOF shot Ahmad Esleem point blank in the head. Why? Because they can. Because the world has granted them full impunity to kill Palestinians for no reason other than being Palestinian.
Your tax dollars at work:
A Palestinian driver bringing food aid from the World Central Kitchen (WCK) into Gaza has been killed by an Israeli soldier “in a field execution”, according to witnesses and the local truckers’ association, which said it may suspend operations in protest.
Ahmad Esleem was shot in the head on Wednesday when an aid convoy stopped because of a breakdown to one truck soon after entering Gaza, according to three accounts. Israeli soldiers ordered the drivers to dismount and one of them shot Esleem in the head when his hands were raised.

Whatever the world allows Israel to do to Palestinians has ripple effects across the region. IOF units are going across southern Lebanon, engaging in the systematic demolition of Lebanese villages.
.@AbdulElSayed: "I think we need to start treating Israel as the rogue nation that it has become because of the choices that the Israeli government has made."
This settler's pistol was almost certainly issued by Ben-Gvir as a part of his drive to arm violent settler militias across Occupied Palestine.
Jasper is yet another New Yorker harmed by Ben Gvir's policies—will AG James fulfill her duty to meet with the victims & investigate?
Israeli officials bellyache about Palestinians “rejecting peace” but deliberately exclude how their brutal settlement empire, occupation, and brute force have been designed to torment the Palestinian people.
Rahm Emanuel's big speech in Israel begins by repeating the lie that Israel keeps trying to make peace and Palestinians keep saying no. Very skeptical that this dishonest rendering of history could form the basis for a decent future policy.
Reminder that the settler colonial expansion rapidly unfolding in the occupied West Bank doesn't stem from “a few bad apples,” but a systematic state-backed effort by the Israeli government to expel Palestinians from the land.
In the past three years, Israel has established more than 185 settler outposts, which now control 18% of the West Bank. That figure does not include settlements Israel considers legal, we are talking only about outposts that are illegal even under Israeli law.
These outposts play a central role in Israel's ongoing project of ethnic cleansing and settler terror in the West Bank. Despite their illegal status, they receive state funding, weapons, and protection from the IDF.
Since October 2023, more than 62 Palestinian communities in the West Bank have been ethnically cleansed. A total of 4,181 people have been displaced, including 1,975 children.

Thank you for speaking on this @DarializaforNY. Every member of Congress and healthcare worker should be.
The unconditional support that Israel has received from the U.S., despite its endless war crimes, is what has allowed Israel to act with impunity.
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya refused to abandon his patients in Gaza. He buried his own son in the hospital courtyard after he was killed by an Israeli drone that struck the entrance of Kamal Adwan Hospital. He kept the hospital running through Israel’s brutal 85-day siege, and didn’t stop fighting for his patients even when the Israeli military raided the hospital and kidnapped dozens of hospital workers. For that, the Israeli military kidnapped him a year and a half ago, and now he's been beaten, starved, thrown in solitary, and is in critical condition — all for trying to save Palestinian lives.
In his last meeting with his lawyer, Dr. Abu Safiya said “They brought me here to kill me.” Dr. Abu Safiya must be released immediately, along with the thousands of Palestinians the Israeli government is holding without charge or trial, who are now at risk after the Knesset passed a law that allows the death penalty for Palestinians.
Kidnapping one of Gaza's few remaining doctors while bombing its hospitals and killing over 1700 health care workers is yet another facet of Israel’s genocide — and it is being carried out with American weapons, paid for with our tax dollars. Palestinians have survived three years plus a century of ethnic cleansing, genocide and aparthied. Enough is enough.
In Congress, I will fight tooth and nail to cut off the endless flow of weapons and American taxpayer dollars to Israel as it violates countless international laws and indiscriminately bombs civilians across multiple countries at once.
🚨TELL CONGRESS: FREE DR. HUSSAM ABU SAFIYA
For 18 months, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya has been facing brutal systematic torture in Israeli jails, including arbitrary beatings, starvation, and prolonged solitary confinement. Take urgent action at: https://t.co/ZNizo67ENH
A majority of Democrats believe Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. It’s overdue for party leadership to align with their constituents' opinions and govern accordingly. Dems should be supporting sanctions, travel bans, and arms embargoes against Israel rather than being deferential to AIPAC.
The survey by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research (AP-NORC) shows that about one-third of US adults—including roughly half of Democrats—believe that Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians during its brutal military onslaught on Gaza.
About 2 in 10 Americans say Israel has not, and the rest, about half, don't know enough to say.
A similar share, 30%, of Jewish American adults say Israel has committed genocide, although about half, 49%, say it has not.
About 58% of Democrats now say the US is "too supportive" of the Israelis, up from 45% in an AP-NORC poll from January 2024, when former US president Joe Biden was in office. That includes 51% of Jewish Democrats in the new poll.
Roughly 6 in 10 Democrats, 62%, say the US is "not supportive enough" of the Palestinians, up from 49% in 2024.
Younger Democrats—those 45 and younger—are still more likely than older ones to say that the US is "not supportive enough" of the Palestinians, but older Democrats are catching up to their younger counterparts. About 57% of older Democrats now say the US should do more for the Palestinians, up from 39% two years ago.
Only 13% of Republicans describe Israel’s actions as genocide, although there is an apparent age gap. About 2 in 10 Republicans under 45 say Israel has committed genocide, while about 1 in 10 Republicans ages 45 and older say the same.
Overall, 60% of Republicans describe the US support for Israel as "about right”. Only about 2 in 10 Republicans say that the US is "too supportive" of the Israelis, although Republicans under 45 are more likely to say this.
The share of Republicans overall who say the US is "too supportive" of Israel has not changed meaningfully since 2024, but the share who say the US is "not supportive enough" has shrunk from 39% to 15%.
Thank you, @repdeliaramirez, for always standing on the right side and demanding justice. Every elected official should be demanding his release immediately.
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a prominent Palestinian doctor, has been detained for 18 months without charge or trial. Now, he’s reportedly in critical condition after being beaten by IDF soldiers.
We must put an end to the impunity and violations of U.S. and international law. We must defend our shared humanity. We must pass my Block the Bombs Act!
The family of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya says his health has sharply deteriorated after more than 555 days in Israeli prisons.
Dr. Abu Safiya had served as a pediatrician and director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza until he was abducted by Israel in December of 2024. He's been held without charge ever since.
In a video message, Dr. Abu Safiya's son Elyas said his father showed clear signs of torture and medical neglect during a recent meeting with his lawyer in which Dr. Abu Safiya described being beaten with a hammer.
"My father was unable to breathe. My father was unable to speak. His face was disfigured from the marks of torture and pain," Elyas Abu Safiya said. "We still call out, plead, appeal and beg to all the free people of the world, and to everyone with an atom of humanity in their heart, to save my father's life before it's too late."
HORRIFIC: An Israeli soldier stopped a Palestinian vehicle in the town of Qalandia in the West Bank, threw a stun grenade into the car while the passengers were still inside, and then shut the door on them.
There can be no meaningful celebration of independence while it continues to bankroll the ethnic cleansing and dispossession of the Palestinian people and erode the very constitutional rights and civil liberties it claims to defend at home. These are not separate struggles.
The same systems that deny Palestinians their freedom abroad are reflected in fundamental freedoms here.
(4/4)
In contrast to the administrations celebration of the nation's founding, Americans across the political spectrum are demanding a government that better reflects their values and is accountable to the people, not one that enables oppression abroad while eroding rights and freedoms at home.
(3/4)
That divide is reflected in the unprecedented victories of candidates who reject AIPAC money and call for Palestinian rights, the sustained protests against attacks on immigrants and constitutional freedoms, and polling that consistently shows broad public opposition to continued U.S. military support for Israel.
(2/4)
As the United States marks 250 years since its founding, a growing disconnect between the American government and the American people is exposed.

Before and after Mujahed Bani Moflh was arbitrarily jailed for 14 months when he was starved, had his skull caved in, and witnessed a fellow prisoner gassed to death in his cell.
The apartheid state needs to be sanctioned now.
Mujahed Bani Moflh's 14 months in Israeli detention were marked by starvation, abuse and injuries to his skull that led to a brain haemorrhage 👇
