After taking 5th in the Olympic 1500m final in a personal best of 3:53.37, 🇬🇧 Laura Muir has called it a season.
2024 season’s bests:
• 1:57.63 for 800m
• 3:53.37 for 1500m (6 races sub-4:00; 2 races sub-3:54)
• 8:29.76 for 3000m indoors (5th place at the World Indoor Championships)
• 9:04.84 for two miles indoors (No. 2 all-time)
Muir has made every World Championship or Olympic 1500m final since 2015. She has finished in the top 5 on six occasions.
One of the most consistent athletes of this era.
