@TreyKnowsBall I think Cig wanted a promotion to the OC job and when saban kept hiring former NFL guys, high profile coaches who got fired, etc. he left to do his own thing. I think saban wanted him to be happy as a wr coach. It’s a “you can’t quit I wanted to fire you situation”
