I'm not sure yet if I'm going to leave this account or take it down, but going forward I'm considering it inactive when it comes to posting. My Facebook page is the primary place to keep up with what I'm doing for now.

At the beginning of February, I decided to take a month off from this site, and given that I didn't feel compelled to return after that time, I think that says a lot about how little of value I've actually been getting from this site.

@Park_Journey It's not a coaster I'm chomping at the bit to ride, but it is one I'd like to experience at some point. As things stand at present, the destination is a deterrent but not a deal breaker for an eventual trip in my book.

We ended our day by going up the Torre Latinoamericana, one of the city’s earliest skyscrapers, to take in both daytime and nighttime views of the valley.

Our last day in Mexico City was mainly for exploring the city center, but we started off by going for a ride on the Cablebus.

Mexico City is definitely somewhere to go if you like archeology, with lots of museums and historical sites centered around Mesoamerican cultures.

Sadly, you can no longer scale the pyramids yourself, but it was still insanely cool to see this pace and I’d recommend it for any Mexico City visit.

Our third day in Mexico City consisted of a group tour to go see several historical sites. We began with a visit to the Plaza of Three Cultures.

Not a lot is known for sure about Teotihuacan, but the area contains lots of ruins from when it was inhabited by the culture that lived here.

While an enjoyable park with good theming and operations, the ride selection unfortunately left a bit to be desired and as such it’s not one I’d prioritize a return visit to.

The second day in Mexico City was spent at Six Flags Mexico. This was the last park in the chain that I needed to visit.
