Yesterday, parents from Kensington Community School came to Queen's Park to ask the Minister of Education why he thinks it's okay to starve the TDSB to the point where it's sticking kids in a grade 4,5,6 split class. Our kids deserve better.

The TDSB is asking for a new funding deal, and I support this request. Please join me on Thursday, May 2, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Harbord Collegiate Institute for the TDSB's budget town hall. We'll connect with parents, teachers and advocates fighting for better schools and get organizing.

School boards in #OntEd are making very hard decisions right now.

Boards do not have the funds needed to maintain current staffing levels and keep the lights on.

Programs, services, and specialized staff are being cut.

Our most vulnerable kids will continue to suffer.
