I’m normally a “don’t 💩 on things that make people happy” kinda girl. But I gotta say, pink is NOT a Christmas color & I wish y’all would STOP trying to make it one.
You know you’re healing your childhood wounds when you hear your daughter crying in the other room & instead of her running to you for help, she says “It’s OK to cry, Raeleigh. Take a deep breath.” 🥹

My mom & I were talking about how my daughter cries all day because she’s struggling w/ her emotions, my mom said “I never had to coach you through your meltdowns. You were just the easiest kid. You would breathe & say OK I can get through this.” … I was 4. Not normal behavior.

Paid off all but one of my credit cards with my taxes & it went up only FOUR points. I can whisper to my credit card about spending $5 at dollar tree & my credit score will drop 15 points. The math is not mathing.
my therapist told me, "stop assuming people are mad at you. Stop attempting to read people's minds. stop trying to manage the thoughts and emotions of others. let people be in charge of themselves. if they have something to say to you they will and if they don't it is their responsibility not yours. overthinking kills happiness" and that hit me like a brick.
a therapist on tiktok said…. “no one notices your sadness until it turns into anger, and then you're the problem. healing is realizing you became the angry person because no one saw your sadness first”
First day of being back on my ADHD meds after finally getting insurance after almost a year without it. Everything is quiet & calm. I could cry. EVERYONE deserves access to medication that helps them feel like themselves again.
