Or one can say despite division of Bengal Presidency long back in 1911...a part of it becoming another country..and all that has happened post 47..freight equalisation and what not..WB,Undivided Bihar and Odisha still has an economy equal or bigger than Maharashtra..
The combined #GSDP of 11 states in the east and the northeast is equivalent to one Maharashtra. #WestBengal is the biggest liability. That is the gift of the #Left_TMC rule. The rest started from a very low base and are now coming up fast.
You have to chase 300 runs in an ODI against this legendary bowling attack:
Glenn McGrath
Wasim Akram
Muttiah Muralitharan
Shane Warne
Dale Steyn
Pick your top 5 batters to chase 300. ๐
He Has 18000 ODI Runs
He Has just about 16000 Test Runs
He Has 250 plus international catches despite fielding mostly in outfield..
He has 200 plus international wickets..despite not being a frontline allrounder..
And yes he has 100 centuries
For a long time..from the 50s to mid 70s,Indian Cricket Teams were honest triers which helped many a good cricketer to balloon/pump up their averages...
Just like WestIndies/Zimbabwe types of the last two decades..
Statistics alone never define greatness..why?
Let's see Botham and Jadeja,Only two cricketers to score 4000 plus runs in tests and over 350 wickets..jadeja is already better than Imran record wise..and will end up with 5000 runs and 400 wickets if selectors dont play spoilsport

The Top Three have a problem..they were very to exceptionally good in one skill..the other skill particularly bowling for Kallis..was average at best..
Unlike Say Botham who was atleast as good if not better than Imran the bowler and among best middle order bat ..14 100s
Test cricket:
Sobers
Imran
Kallis
Keith Miller (he can be 3 too)
Ian Botham
Kapil
Shaun Pollock
The toughest one is Jadeja v Stokes
Number 10? Shakib
I have read a bit of Aubrey Faulkner's achievements but a tad difficult to imagine his game. Richard Hadlee will always be an all time great bowler. But I won't necessarily put him in this list of all-rounders.
Clive Rice and Mike Procter would have been in the list but for SA's isolation.
