Even after our leader Habiib Buwembo and brand ambassadors for H.E. Bobi Wine Day were violently arrested on their way to a legal event, we still celebrated our Revolution Leader’s Day.
We keep moving. ✊🏾

Dear Daughter,
One paradoxical thing about me and being a father is that my greatest hope is also one of my greatest fears.
I hope to see my children grow, spread their wings and fly freely into the world. At the same time, I fear for them as they fly into a world that can sometimes be so unkind.
As you grow older, my girl, I pray that you will be safe wherever life takes you and that you will find favor, love and happiness.
And no matter how big you grow and how many years pass, you will always be my little girl.
Happy birthday, my dearest Shalom Namagembe Nalunkuuma. ❤️
Taata loves you beyond words, beyond time, and beyond measure.
In light of the ongoing political crisis that has been largely characterized by the endless abductions and suppression of dissenting opinions by those holding state power, we’ve gathered at our headquarters in Makerere Kavule to weigh in on this and reiterate our concerns and views on these important matters.
Our freshly released political prisoners Agaba Anthony aka Bobi Young, Saudah Madaada and the Deputy President for Buganda Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi spoke about their ordeal that they underwent during their detention. What stood out was how they remain high in spirits and committed to fighting for good governance. In fact, to quote the Deputy President Hon. Kivumbi, he remarkably said “Let us conquer fear and replace it with faith” in a message that he conveyed to the general public to remain composed no matter the repression.
Our Leader of the Parliamentary Front, Rt. Hon. @JoelSsenyonyi called on the public to continue standing up for their constitutional rights and constructively oppose any views that are crafted to oppress and suppress the citizens. He rallied the public not to bow to the creeping narrative that it is abominable to have different political views, an ugly seed that is being sowed by the regime actors.
The NUP remains committed to fighting for good governance through peaceful and constitutional means.

Shame to this bloodthirsty regime. To you Gen Museveni and your son Muhoozi and all the other people around you. The time for accountability is coming soon.

“Hon. Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi granted bail by the Court in Butambala. We can all hope and pray that he won't be abducted or arrested again as happened last time. Grateful to everyone who has been following up - and especially the people of Butambala” - @DavidLRubongoya
Can’t believe what I just read on @ChrisOMagezi ‘s official X account. Using state offices to run pure stupidity that’s M7 drunkard son’s new task (Muhoozi) —the system is completely broken.

Glad to see comrades Bobi Young and Saudah Madaada back home to their families after spending nearly 2½ years and 1 year, respectively, in jail on politically motivated charges.
Welcome back home comrades, and be sure that this painful sacrifice you have made for the sake of a better Uganda will be vindicated. Those who unjustly imprisoned you will one day be held to account for their crimes.
We’ve walked through rose gardens and through hellfire, laughed until our stomachs hurt and cried until our eyes were red.
Through it all and yet still together and still choosing each other. Sometimes I wonder what I ever did to deserve a blessing like you.
One lifetime could never be enough for me to love you or to reward you for all that you have been to me. So I pray that God’s blessings follow you, our children and our grandchildren, through every generation.
Happy birthday, my dearest @BarbieItungoK .
I love you❤️
On your birthday, we honor your incredible sacrifices for our country. We can never fully repay you, but we’ll keep fighting to ensure the sweet fruits of your tears are realized. Happy Birthday, First Lady @BarbieItungoK
As the remains of His Royal Majesty, Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV arrive back home, we join the people of Tooro and all Ugandans in entering these nine days of solemn mourning.
King Oyo was a visionary leader, a symbol of unity, and a brilliant light who led his people with grace from a tender age. He carried the crown of his Kingdom with immense dignity, humility, and grace. Many looked at him as a symbol of what young people can achieve when given the space to lead.
He reigned with a quiet strength that inspired millions of young people across Uganda and the world, showing us that age is never a barrier to responsibility and service to your people. It is very painful that he did not get to exhaust his full potential.
His passing at such a young age is a profound loss to our culture and the nation at large.
We stand in deep solidarity with the Queen Mother, the royal family, and the entire Tooro Kingdom during this dark hour.
May we use this period of reflection to honour his legacy and leadership.
May God rest his soul in eternal peace, and may his ancestors receive him well.
Omukama atuulize. Enkuba etutiire. Entare egwiire. Mahano muno.
Dr. Kizza Besigye - an icon of our struggle, a pillar of resilience, and a true elder of the Ugandan liberation movement.
For decades, Dr. Besigye has consistently chosen conviction over comfort. He has remained steadfast and completely unyielding in the face of brutal persecution, multiple unlawful detentions, and constant threats to his life.
The Museveni regime continues to harass and torment him in the hope that they will break his spirit. Yet, through it all, he continues to stand firm - his spirit unbroken.
While we can never repay him for his enduring leadership and refusal to bow to tyranny, we can stand with him in his hour of need. I am grateful to our friends who have launched this solidarity campaign to raise funds for his welfare and mounting legal costs while he and his colleagues continue to languish in jail.
I encourage all of us to be part of this effort. Let us contribute whatever we can to support this cause. My wife @BarbieItungoK and I are making a modest contribution of UGX 5,000,000.
By standing together during these challenging times, we send a clear message to the regime: they can jail our bodies, but they can never jail our solidarity. Their attempts to throw us into disarray will not yield. Together, we shall overcome.
BREAKING: Uganda is bleeding! Corruption is rampant, and has reached its peak right from the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among to the lowest ranks of the NRM government. We, the NUP Dutch/Belgium chapter, stand in solidarity with the Ugandan people demanding change! CORRUPTION AFFECTS US ALL! From embezzlement to nepotism, the NRM government is rotten to the core. We demand accountability and transparency NOW! We stand with the Ugandan people in their quest for justice and equality. We will not rest until Uganda is free from corruption and tyranny!

It’s heartbreaking seeing someone you used to lookup to turn into a Mafia, someone who was relentless on issues concerning people become the apologist of the oppressor. Now you’re misinterpreting and setting-up those using their voices ffe batusibe gwe Ovimbe mu banene kiruma💔😔
Here is our friend Kihura Rozio, who ran after my car to give me a hammer (as in enyondo😁) in Isingiro recently. Many people online have started calling him Nsi because of his running skills😅
We traced him and intended to host him at today's press conference as we marked 4 years of @NUP_Ug but the regime blocked our offices. Nonetheless, I hosted him home in Magere.
Rozio exemplifies millions of young Ugandans who were never concerned with politics until the #PeoplePower Movement emerged. Many people were touched by his video and have reached out to us regarding how they can help him change his life. While our welfare team sees how to support him, you may also send in your support directly to him on 0701685107/ 0761677690 both registered in the names Ayesiga Promise.
