Most people tend to believe what they read without questioning the source or considering potential bias. In a world where information spreads quickly, it's crucial to seek impartiality and think critically about what’s presented. Don’t take everything at face value always verify
The Emirates Stadium conundrum. Arsenal spent years exploring different ways of expanding. Looked at filling in corners, changing the seats and more. But they ultimately chose to largely leave it alone - for now, at least. Why? Piece with @SamWallaceTel

@Tony_Lamp_@timpayton I never said now is the time to build. A smart club plans in stages today and models revenue over 5-10 years. Some rivals could hit the billion mark within a decade. What is our board doing to get us there?
@timpayton If increasimg capacity not feasible at least convert Emirates as a multi-use stadium, it needs a retractable pitch and to then push increasing event limits, and year-round commercial use like a hotel, dining or conferencing. Without those, non-matchday income stays marginal.
Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.
When I started writing the Analysis Series, I wanted to be objective & report facts or the best information & analysis available. I hope this meets that standard:

"They [Man City] bought all my players!" 🙃
"If there’s no respect for the rules then it’s not real sport!" 😤
Back to this classic Arsene Wenger interview on FFP 🧠
There needs to be a proper investigation into what happened between 2018-2026. I don't believe for one second they transformed their ethics overnight....
Interview of Der Spiegel journo Christoph Winterbach on Football Leaks.
He found so many manipulations in the business that dissuaded him from being a football fan
Asked any positivity he found from the leaks, he singled out Martin Odegaard’s father, a shining light in the dark
Apparently, some English clubs have sought legal advice on whether they may have a claim for compensation, and they have every right to do so. The integrity of the competitions in which Manchester City participated has been seriously compromised ever since these financial schemes began. We are not talking about something isolated or insignificant, but about fraud on a massive, even colossal, scale that went on for several years.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City found guilty on virtually all charges relating to breaches of Premier League financial regulations. #MCFC expected to appeal against verdict issued by independent commission. Sanctions undecided, process ongoing @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/Muxqp4beK9
‘If there’s no respect for the rules, it’s not real sport. If it is proven that this has been done on purpose you cannot let that go unpunished’
Arsène Wenger, 2020
Very alarming that we played in second gear today
Individually & collectively poor
Didn't do the basics
No urgency
Looked unprofessional
This is a major set back
We haven't had a heavy defeat like this for years so don't want to go overboard need to bounce back quickly
