I would rather have one, fixed smooth implementation that accommodate both uses.

How about 2X for everyone and just charge more when you use it in a burst?

You give 2X usage, but if you use it in a burst it charge more, rather than an absolute stop. Please consider this.

@thsottiaux i see the point from both side, but Anthropic is doing fine with 5 hr limit, because their limit (at the moment) is generous according to its users.
