One of the 14th Region’s standout players is coming back home.

After spending the past year at UPIKE, Kyra McAlarnis has announced her transfer to Alice Lloyd College, bringing one of the region’s most accomplished talents back to Knott County.

Kyra enjoyed an outstanding high school career, earning a reputation as one of the premier players in the mountains. Now, she’ll continue her collegiate career just minutes from home, where she’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact for the Eagles.

Everyone at D&D Sports Network would like to congratulate Kyra on this exciting new chapter. We can’t wait to watch her compete back in the mountains.

Volleyball and Soccer were crowned NCCAA Mid East Region Champions. while Softball, Soccer, and Volleyball all set new school records for wins. Softball also capped off an incredible year with a World Series appearance! Congrats to all of our Eagles!🦅

This week at our annual convention, our attendees were able to serve our community by writing letters to the over 250 staff at the Hyatt in downtown Greenville and pack over 200 care bags for homeless veterans in the Upstate with BootPrint.
