Share ko lang. For those who follow me on Threads, I suppose you've seen how I'm more politically active there. If I'm not posting about SB19, chances are, I'm talking about politics. Well, last week, there's a post from an American that described how "third world" the US has become for dumping on the streets hospital patients who can't pay the bills. So eto naman ako, as someome na proud pa rin sa heritage ko kahit iba na ang pasaporte ko, I had to chime in. I said, Americans who haven't experienced living in so-called third world countries need to refrain from referencing US inadequacies in services to being "third world". I cited how I was born and raised in an actual third world country and how Pinas doesn't do what they specifically described even if the country's rural hospitals may be lacking in modern facilities.

Fast-forward to today, seeing posts about, of all things, the airconditioned and clean portalets at SMDC for SB19's Trilogy Finale Concert, added to my series of realizations:

The Philippines may not have everything that more economically advanced countries have, but what it lacks (which, of course, should still be worked on), it makes up for things that should make even the richest countries pay attention.

From world-class hotels that can rival in amenities and design the iconic ones in mega-cities in the West, top-notch in-flight services with delicious food, the biggest malls, the tastiest culinary experience, and now, a music group that's been setting the bar higher year after year when it comes to artist treatment and event production — hinding-hindi magpapatalo at magpapahuli ang mahal kong Pilipinas. 💙💛❤️
