This week we are spotlighting a need for rice —one of the most requested items at our Community Food Hubs. For many families, rice is a staple that helps put reliable, nourishing meals on the table.

We hosted over ten kids at our Community Food Hub this week for a Learn & Play Group with the Center for Alexandria’s Children.
Providing a safe place to learn and play for them and a moment of support for their parents.

This week, ALIVE! was proud to receive a full truckload of food from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as part of a nationwide initiative honoring the 250th birthday of the United States.

The Community Food Distribution that was originally scheduled for 4/16 is now today, 4/9, 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Hammond Middle School, (4646 Seminary Rd)
