Happy summer! We received some photos from last week’s transition celebration. It was a beautiful day filled with smiles, sunshine, & happiness. We thank our amazing families & PTA, incredible faculty, & dedicated students for making this milestone moment such a special day.
Before we started Diploma Day, some members of the 8th grade chorus performed the National Anthem live. We wanted to share the live performance clip & thank Ms. di’Targiani for working so hard to provide the students with a live performance experience!!
Inspired by Paul Fleischman’s, Seedfolks, a novella about an urban community that comes together in-spite of their different cultures, beliefs & languages to create a beautiful community garden. Mrs. Grisanti’s students designed their own planter, picked their seeds & planted.
Rosie update: She placed 3rd in the 3000m at the Junior Olympics! She held off a tough challenge on the final straight & crossed the line in an amazing 11 min & 38.97 seconds, taking almost 2 minutes off her previous result, & securing a bronze medal! Congratulations to Rosie!
We thank our ALMS Art Teachers, Ms. DelGuercio, Ms. Dellaripa, and Ms. Suplina, for their beautiful collaboration highlighting students summing up their experiences through the pandemic on a craft stick. “Through it All, We Stick Together” is our newest bulletin board display.
