@BoardGeniuses I dunno. The Illini played Tennessee in the Music City bowl this past December and Vols fans were cordial and civil. Didn’t hear a peep from them after the game…most seemed like really nice folks. Number 1 seems harsh to me.
@JVMonte2 Keep away old man, you won't fool me
You and your history won't rule me
You might have been a fighter, but admit you failed
I'm not affected by your blackmail
You won't blackmail me
The University of Illinois football stadium is named Memorial Stadium to honor alumni, students, faculty, and staff who died in the nation's wars and conflicts.
It was originally built in 1923 as a tribute to those who perished in World War I.
The stadium's iconic east and west colonnades feature 200 pillars. The names of Illini veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War I are etched into the stone.
In 2002, the memorial was extended to honor the 948 alumni, students, faculty, and staff who died in U.S. wars since 1918. Their names are engraved on four limestone tablets at the entrances. #Illini. #MemorialDay
@TheExtremeMusi1 Remove Led Zeppelin and replace with The Who. Zep was somewhat ok but The Who 1) took the rock opera to new heights and 2) created the most explosively incredible rock and roll music ever recorded.
The Stones have staying power.
