Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity celebrates its 108th anniversary today, Nov. 5, 2022. On Nov. 5, 1914, seven Italian men attending Syracuse Univ. swore an Oath of Brotherhood on a sword giving birth to Alpha Phi Delta. We remember and honor those seven brothers on this Founders Day.

Salvatore Flagiello (Gamma Rho ’06) was re-elected as National Pres. of Alpha Phi Delta for a third term, while Paul Zammit (Gamma Sigma ’03) was re-elected by unanimous vote for a third term as National Vice Pres. Elections were held during the 2022 National Council Mtg.

On November 5, 1914, Joseph Cangiamila, Dominic T. Ciolli, Ferdinand F. DiBartolo, Anthony T. Frascati, Nicholas Frunzi, Otto Gelormini and Cesidio A. Guarini, students of Syracuse University, swore the Oath of Brotherhood on a sword, giving birth to Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity.
