Love or hate @getnickwright, it wild to hear him talk about the similarities in the trajectories of Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady’s first 8-9 seasons of their careers with Simmons, just days before the torn ACL that coincides with the same year of Brady’s career and his torn ACL.
2002: The Chiefs finish a win over Buffalo with a perfectly executed 4-minute offense. Priest Holmes runs the ball on 6 of 8 plays and goes over the 1,000-yard mark for the 2nd consecutive season.
I know it’s become pretty cliche and cringey to talk about at this point but if you’re under like 25 I cannot stress enough how one time Obama wore a tan suit and people spent a week arguing over whether or not it was demeaning to the Oval Office and they were serious about it.
Playoff record in seasons without a top 8 defense:
Patrick Mahomes: 13-4 record - 2 rings
Peyton Manning: 11-11 record - 1 ring
Drew Brees: 8-8 record - 1 ring
Aaron Rodgers: 7-10 record - 0 rings
Tom Brady: 6-7 record - 0 rings
Oh wow that's interesting.
I know it’s just the offseason, and I’ve shared my excitement about the coaching changes on the offensive side of the ball for the Chiefs. While listening to Eric Bieniemy, Chad O’Shea and DeMarco Murray in their press conferences today, you just sense a different vibe with the offense and it’s been noticed in some of the rookie minicamp and OTAs open to the media this year. I’m excited to see the improvement on offense this season for the Chiefs.
Xavier Worthy and Tyquan Thornton are once again showing off that game-breaking speed on deep balls 👀🔥😈
Meanwhile, Mansoor Delane continues to make plays and have his name called throughout OTAs 💯
Training Camp can’t get here soon enough 😭🏈
