PS Ngeno owes Truphena Muthoni and Kenyans a public apology. According to Trupena, it’s Dr. Ngeno who allegedly frustrated Kenya’s newest national hero and denied her the chance to represent the country on a global stage.
And why is it that the loudest “patriots” are always the ones wearing the biggest flag accessories?
In Kenya it’s the flag bands, in Tanzania it’s officials rocking national-color ties as if patriotism is something you put on, not something you live by.
Francis Ole Kaparo is easily one of the best speakers Kenya has ever had. He is fine gentleman and patriot that I admire greatly. He swung by bunge today, gave me a copy of his memoirs “Calming the storms” and made me read the last three paragraphs.I assured him we have the will!
I am overjoyed that Papa fondly called Bishop by many is alive to be celebrated as a national hero this Mashujaa Day. This honour is so well deserved.
You’ve mentored and shaped us, your children and extended family through bold and loving decisions that helped us live to our full potential. Thank you for protecting us and for building our confidence by always giving us a voice and for inspiring many other girls in the community to stand up for themselves.
You gave me the gift of education, exposure, and freedom to dream, even with some limits 😊. You taught us to love God, our culture, our people, and our nation. Through you I met the world and my friends call you Dad because you truly are a father to many.
I’ve watched you serve others selflessly; taking neighbours to the hospital, helping children go to school, fighting for scholarships, mentoring the youth, and standing boldly for justice and peace. Your courage and compassion shaped who I am.
I thank God for you, Papa. You’ve shown me that when you do good without seeking recognition God rewards you in His own time. I’m glad you’re receiving your flowers while you can still smell them.
Gratitude to everyone who made this honour possible: the Heroes Council, those who prayed for you, and President William Ruto. Thank you to Mum and my siblings for the sacrifices that allowed you to serve.
With love,
Your daughter; NL
Losing a mother is truly painful. Her love and care can never be replaced. Take heart, my dear family — she may be gone from our sight, but she will forever live in our hearts.. Rest in peace masulani. Sad news @OKwskenya@KWSKenya should compensate life immediately
Baba is a big loss, As Samburu we owe him all the benefits of devolution. I remember him insisting that Samburu should be a county of its own even everyone else was saying merge Samburu with either Isiolo, Laikipia or Turkana. #ripbaba
Samburu deserves its own university.
A place where our youth can learn, innovate, and leadwithout leaving home.
It’s time we built an institution that reflects our culture, solves our challenges, and empowers generations.
If others have done it, so can we.
Samburu has the brains.
Being In Power As President And You Keep Chest thumping How Powerful or Experienced you are in Politics yet The Generation You Leading Is This Hopeless and Ready To lose it All. You Must Watch Yourself Keenly.
