Federal investigators uncovered a massive fake nursing diploma operation that ran through Haitian immigrant networks in South Florida, selling credentials to people who never completed the required nursing coursework or clinical training.

Investigators say the broader scheme involved roughly 15,000 fraudulent nursing diplomas and $250 MILLION.

Many buyers then took nursing board exams, obtained licenses and went to work in healthcare facilities across America.

His name is Andrew Coates. He's 22 years old, in Nebraska.

Right now, today, he runs into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT.

He is doing the job. For free.

All he wanted was to get PAID to do it. In his words: "Make a career out of it would be the goal. To get paid to do what you love."

So he applied to the Fremont Fire Department.

And in April, the city rejected him. Why?

Because his high school diploma says he was homeschooled.

That's it. That's the whole disqualification.

Not his EMT license.
Not his fitness.
Not his record.
Not his experience pulling people out of fires ALREADY!!

...how he was educated.

The job posting he applied to said "graduation from high school."

That's all it said.
He graduated high school.
He has a diploma.

And AFTER they rejected him, the city went back and added the word "accredited" to the job description.

His own fire chief, the man who has watched Andrew work, showed up to defend him:

"I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here, and in my mind, because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him."

Over THIRTY homeschool families showed up to stand behind this kid.

And the Civil Service Commission? They said it isn't their job to touch city policy.

Homeschoolers are literally a generation of kids who read ABOVE grade level, who work with their HANDS, who volunteer in their communities, who show up for their neighbors.

And this young man is the proof.

At 22, he's a certified EMT and a volunteer firefighter, while plenty of his peers are on a couch.

When your house is on fire at 3 a.m., I promise you will not ask the man dragging your children out where he went to high school.

You will not ask if his diploma was accredited.

You will thank GOD he came.

Andrew isn't even fighting for himself anymore. His words:

"I think now it's turned into we want to make sure that every homeschooler has an equal opportunity."

That's a better man than the policy that rejected him.

Fremont, you have a licensed EMT and an active firefighter begging to serve your city. And you turned him down over paperwork, then rewrote the paperwork to cover it.

Fix this.

Harvard Medical School has agreed to pay $53 MILLION to settle lawsuits after its former morgue manager was accused of stealing and selling human body parts donated to the school for medical research.

These were people whose families donated their bodies to help educate future doctors, only to find out pieces of their remains were being sold.

Imagine trusting Harvard with your loved one’s body and then finding out something like this happened.

How the hell does something like this happen at one of the most prestigious medical schools in the world without anyone stopping it?

Distraught mom takes to the internet after her autistic 5-year-old son was placed on the wrong school bus, and the bus driver let him off at a random stop without adult supervision.

The only reason her son made it safely back home was because a parent at the bus stop alerted the school that the child was alone and had no adult with him. A special education teacher then went to pick him up.

The investigation exploded after Eugene Horsch was stopped with a woman carrying identification in the name of Blair Tonzelli, - woman missing since 2023. Eugene allegedly possessed guns, drugs and forged law-enforcement credentials.

But there is an important distinction: police said Wednesday they have not found evidence connecting Eugene to the dead or missing women, and he has not been charged with their killings. His current federal case involves gun and drug charges.

So authorities have not established a father-son serial-killer duo, but what investigators are uncovering inside the home the two men shared is becoming increasingly disturbing.

After telling the Muslim they were there to protest, the Muslim tells them they aren’t allowed in New York and gave them a ticket

He and his wife Josephine had been married for FORTY-TWO YEARS and on Sunday, June 7th, they went to church.

Then they stopped at the Walmart to do their grocery shopping.

Josephine says a 17-year-old Black female employee came through with a heavy cart and nearly slammed into her.

No "excuse me." No apology. Nothing.

So Bert did what husbands do, he spoke up for his wife.

In his wife's words, he told that girl: "You almost hit my wife with your heavy cart, and you did not even say excuse me or apologize to her."

Josephine says the teenager then THREW A CAN at them as they walked away. It missed.

The elderly couple, not wanting any trouble, just kept shopping.

Minutes later, that girl's PARENTS showed up at the store, found the 77-year-old man and beat him to de*th.

"They crowded my husband, one of the adults hit him in the face. He fell down on the floor. I was terrified. I don't know what's going on."

Here's why...

This painting is called Allegory of Satan, or Lord of the World, painted around 1900 by the Polish artist Ludwik Stasiak. It is not the devil you might expect. There are no flames, no chaos and no horns leering out of the dark. Stasiak painted something far more unsettling.

Here the devil sits enthroned like a ruler of the world, with a sardonic grin on his face, surrounded by the symbols of earthly power: wealth, ambition, domination. Evil, he suggests, never arrives as something horrifying that we instantly reject. It arrives as something attractive. It looks like success. It looks like money, and status, and control. It looks like everything the world tells us to want.

And that is what makes the painting feel so modern, more than a century after it was made. Stasiak was working at the turn of the twentieth century, an age obsessed, like ours, with progress, fortune and getting ahead. And he was warning that the most dangerous evil is not the kind that frightens us, but the kind that seduces us, the kind we serve willingly because it promises to make us powerful.

Which brings us back to the old saying: "the devil hates his servants the most." Look closely at what lies beneath his throne. Scattered at its base are the skulls of the powerful, still wearing their crowns and their helmets in death, the very people who traded their souls for money and power. And he sits above them, amused, because the joke is on them. This is why the devil hates his servants the most: he does not respect them for serving him, he despises them for it, because they handed over the only thing that ever mattered in exchange for things that rot.

It's my favorite depiction of Satan because Stasiak did not depict a devil we would run from, he painted a devil we would kneel to, and follow, and call our lord, mistaking our own chains for a crown. And I think that comes much closer to the truth. The artist was giving form to a warning as old as the Gospels themselves:

"No one can serve two masters. You cannot serve both God and money."

Security guards saw her.

Cameras caught her multiple times.

One resident was so unnerved by an encounter with her that they hit a panic alarm.

...then she knocked on the Getmans' door.

She asked if she could use their shower and charge her cellphone.

Darryl and Sharon Getman, 83 and 80 years old decided they should show some kidness...

...and they let her in.

Sometime between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m., prosecutors say Vickie Williams grabbed a kitchen knife and brutally m*rdered them both.

A forensic pathologist testified they found of MULTIPLE wounds.

Both had defensive wounds, meaning an 83-year-old man and his 80-year-old wife spent their final moments fighting for their lives.

When police found Darryl, a butcher-style knife was still buried in his abdomen.

There were bloody footprints through the house and out into the garage.

Prosecutors say that after k*lling them, she WASHED HER CLOTHES in their laundry room while they

She took their car keys. And at 2 in the morning, a camera photographed the Getmans' green Kia Soul rolling out of that retirement community.

She drove it all the way to Savannah, Georgia.

And when she turned up at a man's apartment in Georgia days later, here is what he testified, under oath, this week:

"She told me she bought a new car."

She LIED about it and he said she was rushing inside "like somebody was after her or something."

She was arrested January 2nd at an Amtrak station in Savannah, still driving the couple's car.

And now, almost four years later, her defense is that she was suffering from 'psychosis" and should be found not guilty by reason of insanity.

Prosecutors say she has an arrest record going back decades of assault and robbery.
