@len93izi A trans person I know sometimes skips weeks of hormones because they're trying to make their supply last. It's difficult to get more where they live. It's more common than it should be to fluctuate with hormones.

@counting_cosmos Poor game design made the player's introduction to it genuinely bad, hence the idea the entire game is bad. I would state I dislike it only because I dislike sports, but my hate spot is taken up by that damn chocobo minigame you need to play to get Caladbolg.

@kiizawii For my pal and I, we were happy to have years of content to get through. It was kind of exciting to experience all of ARR-Shadowbringers in one year-long period of weekend sessions and a 3 month hiatus for other games. See it like an episodic journey and go your own pace! :)

@sham_exe If I recall, you either die to 'em and learn they do that, or know ahead of time because a previous ff game taught you the hard way already. Now, Behemoths will scare you in every game lol

@harpsibored The issue with insisting on the Japanese names is none of the other characters use their exact Japanese pronunciations. Localization often involves adjusting sounds and spellings to account for limitations on either side.

@drakanous I liked being able to engage with the environment more than just clicking on stuff. I forgot I was in an MMO for a second, and my pal and I joked about Silent Hill puzzles the entire time. :)

@OrwellNGoode It's got a linguistic history, an example of when the writen language reflects a local habit. I hear Americans verbalize the date as "February Fifth, Twenty-twenty." So, they write it as such. Vs. Europeans' "Fifth of February". It's just a dialectal difference. Nothing abnormal.

@_iroira I'm pretty sure they had photographs, radio technology, and combustion engines in Garlemald. One of the side stories literally has Jullus look at a photograph of the royal family and we finally learn their names.
