"And so it occurred to those in charge, despite seeing all the proofs ˹of his innocence˺, that he should be imprisoned for a while." —Surah Yusuf Ayat 35

When you always rage or withdraw in response to truth, you’re training people, over time, to manage you rather than engage you. Your relationship with them will quietly become a performance and they’ll fake things for you, you’ll know, but can’t say anything. What a burden.

When one dedicates themselves to good and appropriate deeds during these times-early morning, late afternoon, and a portion of the night, especially its final hours-they attain the greatest share of lasting good deeds, achieving happiness,…
"If the curtains of the unseen were unfolded for you, you would’ve loved your sadness. And if you were to see how rewards are scooped out abundantly for the patient ones, your heart would be overjoyed, and you would find sweetness in every prick of pain"
— ابن الجوزي (رحمه الله)
it is so very beautiful to listen to the qur’ān being recited… and the peak of enjoyment is to listen to mahmūd khalīl al-hussariy (rahimahullāh) reciting.
How to Connect Zotero with Claude Code
A step-by-step tutorial

BREAKING: Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera (CON), Sarkin Kabin Argungu Emirate in Kebbi State, calls on communities to stop fleeing from bandits and instead organize to defend themselves. He urges residents to prepare lawful means of self-protection, arguing that communities must take a more active role in confronting the insecurity devastating rural areas.
His message reflects the growing frustration of many northern communities facing persistent attacks, killings and displacement. At a time when fear has gripped many rural areas, other traditional rulers and emirs across Northern Nigeria should take a cue from this example by standing visibly with their people and demonstrating leadership during these difficult times.
For this interview, I consulted a 50 year old recording from FRCN archives which I got from my cousin.
Baba-Ahmed's Hausa was never fluent, despite spending decades of his life in Zariya.
His Arabic however, is absolutely superb.
This is why it is interesting that his sons are very versed in Hausa language to the point that one of them translated Shakespeare's works into Hausa.
I was in Akure last year for a burial ceremony. Trust me, Zaria Local Govt is more developed than Akure. They had their first Kilimanjaro Restaurant around that time, and the roads are as terrible asthe faces of these bigots. I went round the entire city in half a day, with the help of a colleague and I didn't see a single development in that state, when compared to states like Kano, Gombe, Bauchi, Kaduna. Until recently, Delta State that pockets what 5 states in the northern receives as FAAC every month is just a messy state with nothing to show of development. Thanks to the present governor, he is doing a lot. Is it Bayelsa or Edo? Yet, the North is pulling them back. One Osas is in Lagos singing the praises of the Lagos govt leaving behind his Edo suffering under-development.
STILL FOR THE TRUTH SEEKERS
DADIYATA
For the first time, a couple of months ago, someone - @charlesaniagolu of @ARISEtv - mustered the guts and the sincerity to confront @elrufai face to face on the question of Dadiyata. El-Rufai did not dodge or buck the question. He confronted it head on (see attached video).
Why did the compulsive viral El-Rufai accusers suddenly go silent since that interview and worse since the recent revelations and information regarding Dadiyata?
I guess it's now the turn of El-rufaists to ask our own 'where is Dadiyata'? question.

The thought of standing on the day of judgement and defending what you wrote or said about someone is terrifying. Always have the best wishes and give people the benefit of doubt.
Do your possible best to see that you don’t backbite on someone. And always give the benefit of doubt to others. You don’t know the type of struggle that person dealt with , you’re not living their life so it will be better not avoid judging their situation.
