Salute to the indomitable courage and sacrifice of our brave hearts on CRPF Valor Day.

On this day in 1965, the fearless warriors of CRPF stood like an unbreakable wall at Sardar Post in the Rann of Kutch, crushing the enemy’s advances and writing a glorious chapter of bravery in India’s history.

Heartfelt tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the honor and security of nation.

Today, we honour the "Bravest of the Brave."
​On #ValourDay, the DG and all ranks of the @crpfindia salute the indomitable spirit of our heroes. We pay a solemn tribute to the 6 valiant troopers who made the supreme sacrifice at Sardar Post on April 9,1965.

​In the desolate Rann of Kutch, history was written in blood and iron. Two companies of the 2nd Battalion CRPF faced a massive onslaught by a Pakistani Infantry Brigade of 3,500 personnel.

​Despite being vastly outnumbered, our jawans stood like a rock, repelling the assault with unmatched grit:
​34 enemy soldiers killed (including 2 officers).
​4 prisoners of war captured.
​The post remained unconquered.
​We remember the supreme sacrifice of those who safeguarded the motherland against overwhelming odds:

CRPF Family Welfare Association (CWA) celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm at the CRPF Officers’ Institute “Shaurya”, New Delhi, on the theme “Rights, Equality and Empowerment for All Women.” The programme was graced by President #CWA, Dr. Anamika Singh.
Families and their children from CRPF units in the NCR attended physically, while CRPF families across the country joined virtually. Women achievers were honoured for their remarkable contributions in education, professionalism, social commitment, and sports. On this occasion, “Sukriti – The CRPF Entrepreneur Show” was inaugurated to promote women entrepreneurs from Force families, and a CWA booklet on its rules, regulations, and welfare schemes was released.
A beautiful cultural programme by CRPF families added vibrancy to the celebration. In her message, Dr. Anamika Singh highlighted CWA’s initiatives to empower the women and daughters of Force families and encouraged them to make full use of these schemes to strengthen themselves, their families, and the nation.

रायबरेली में ईंट-भट्‌ठे पर मजदूरी करने वाले रामदेव के बेटे विमल कुमार IAS बन गए हैं। उनकी UPSC में 107वीं रैंक आई है। सिलेक्शन की खुशी में विमल कुमार ने 7 किलोमीटर तक काफिले के साथ जुलूस निकाला।

उनके काफिले में 12 कारें, डीजे और 50 से ज्यादा बाइकें शामिल थीं। लोगों ने जगह-जगह विमल का स्वागत किया और फूल-माला पहनाया। बेटे की सफलता से पिता रामदेव की भी आंखें भर आईं।

अपनी सफलता के बारे में विमल कुमार बताते हैं- नवोदय विद्यालय में एक बार डीएम मैम आई थीं। उसी समय मैंने तय कर लिया था कि IAS ही बनूंगा। खर्च कम हो, इसलिए गांव में रहकर ही 3 बार ऑनलाइन क्लास ली।

​DG @crpfindia, Shri G. P. Singh, IPS, visited FOB Trilposi (Chaibasa) in Jharkhand to review operational readiness as we enter the final phase of this historic mandate. The resolve of our bravehearts remains unshakable.

During a ‘Samvad’ with the troops, DG, Shri Singh emphasized:
* Meeting the March 31 deadline for total elimination of Naxalism.
* Strict adherence to protocols against hidden IEDs to ensure "Zero Casualty."
* Sustained pressure in core areas.

Reiterating commitment to the soil & the soul: DG, Shri G. P. Singh planted a sapling at the camp, symbolizing a greener, peaceful future. He later joined the troops for tea, sharing informal moments and boosting the morale of the force.
