In a recent comprehensive interview, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio defended President Donald Trump's decision to implement a 30-day moratorium suspending certain Russian sanctions, explicitly explaining that the policy choice was made to allow more Russian diesel into the global marketplace to lower fuel costs and protect the American economy.
