I’ve written to the Foreign Secretary after yet another appalling attack on Ahmadi Muslims in Rabwah, Pakistan.

This is personal to Ahmadi families in Putney, Roehampton and Southfields who attend the Fazl Mosque. We must stand up for freedom of religion and human rights.

During his Friday Sermon last week, His Holiness addressed the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

He said that after an American missile bombed a school in Iran, killing scores of Iranian schoolgirls, even Western commentators observed that had they been Israeli, American or Western children, the media coverage would have been endless.

But no such concern exists for Muslim lives.

Ahmadiyya Muslim UK Leader Condemns Manchester Synagogue Terror Attack and Urges Interfaith Solidarity.

Rafiq Hayat, National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK, said:

“We are heartbroken at this evil act of terror and stand in full solidarity with the Jewish community, and all those affected. An attack on a synagogue, a church, or a mosque is an attack on the very conscience of our society. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones and with the Jewish community as a whole.

“We condemn this barbaric act in the strongest possible terms. There can be no justification for such hatred and violence. It is incumbent upon all people of faith and goodwill to unite in the face of such evil.”

His Royal Highness Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, visited the Baitul Futuh Mosque in Morden, South London — the largest mosque in Western Europe — on 25 July 2025 to mark its success in the London Gardens Society competition, of which His Royal Highness is Patron.

His Royal Highness was welcomed by the Deputy Lord-Lieutenant (DLL), Dr Robin McNeill Love and introduced to key dignitaries including the Mayor of Merton, representatives from the London Garden Society, and then to a senior delegation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK. (1/5)
