@Zanna_Daniel@lolashoneyin The limited exposure of ará ìlú òkè to urbanisation makes it sound derogatory when they ask if one is from ìlú òkè. But that is purely a question of complex. I wouldn't deny, however, that some 'ará Èkó' use 'Ìlú Òkè' as a remark to mean unsophisticated.
@Zanna_Daniel@lolashoneyin Ìlú Òkè is a term mainly used by 'ará Èkó' to describe their Yorùbá brethren from Ọ̀yọ́ State up to Kwara, Èkìtì and Oǹdó due to geographical siting. It's not derogatory.
@dipoaina1 I find 8:30am rather late for people who are trying to get to work or the markets before 8am. The train can move at 6am or 6:30am, and if it's a mono rail, the early morning trips should be from the Ìjú-Kọ́lá-Alágbàdo axis.
