AMA-Kenya

As a result, we’re going to scale down our offices from the current location at The Mirage, to a smaller location with 2 Hot-Desks for employees who wish to come in once or twice a week.
AMA-Kenya is moving office…to EVERYWHERE! (5)

We’ve been #WorkingFromHome for a while now, and it works.
Over the last year and a bit, AMA-Kenya has looked to a Remote-First Hybrid working solution. (1)

[AMA-Kenya @AMArchKenya]

All things considered, it’s been more than eye-opening, so we’re happy to announce that we are looking to make this a permanent solution. (4)

How it started: How its going:

Progress Photos of our Lamu Innovation Lab project with @KenyaRedCross . All the containers are on site, working on the finishes and Landscaping now. Completing soon, hopefully.

A fractured set of elevations with a variegated material and color palette was enhanced by the decorative powder-coated iron motifs that adorn the facades. Like we said: one of our favorite designs!

[AMA-Kenya @AMArchKenya]

Completed last year, this is L’Aziz suites in Nairobi’s City Park estate by #AMADesign. One of our favorite designs mainly because of the challenges brought about by the triangular plot. Each floor consists of 2 X 1 bedroom suites and a circulation core.

[AMA-Kenya @AMArchKenya]

While the initial impulse with a site as tight and triangular as this would probably be to work to soften it, we decided to brutally expose the sharp edges.
