Son Excellence Madame @YassineFall , Ministre de l’Intégration africaine et des Affaires étrangères, a reçu, ce jour, Son Excellence Monsieur Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi, Ministre d’État aux Affaires étrangères de l’État du Qatar, en visite officielle à Dakar.
L’entretien en tête-à-tête entre les deux Ministres, a été l’occasion d’évoquer les grands axes de partenariat, au regard des liens d’amitié et de coopération existants entre le Sénégal et le Qatar.
Les deux Ministres ont également réitéré leur volonté commune d’explorer de nouvelles opportunités d’investissement, afin de rendre la coopération bilatérale plus dynamique et plus centrée sur leurs priorités nationales respectives.

Her Excellency Ms. Yassine Fall, Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, received today His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, on an official visit to Dakar.
The one-on-one meeting between the two Ministers provided an opportunity to discuss major areas of partnership, in light of the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between Senegal and Qatar.
The two Ministers also reiterated their shared commitment to exploring new investment opportunities in order to make bilateral cooperation more dynamic and more aligned with their respective national priorities.

Elle y a rencontré le personnel diplomatique et échangé avec des représentants de la communauté sénégalaise, réaffirmant l’importance du lien entre le Sénégal et sa diaspora, ainsi que l’engagement de l’État à leur écoute et leur accompagnement.

🔹 National Assembly 🇸🇳The Committee on Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad reviewed Bill No. 03/2025 on assistance to detainees and the transfer of convicted persons (Sénégal - Maroc).

— Adoption à l’unanimité du projet de loi sur l’assistance aux détenus et le transfèrement des condamnés entre le Sénégal et le Maroc 🇸🇳🇲🇦*l

L’ Assemblée Nationale du Sénégal a adopté à l’unanimité le projet de loi n°03/2025 autorisant la ratification de la Convention entre le #Sénégal et le #Maroc sur l’assistance aux détenus et le transfèrement des personnes condamnées.

Objectifs de cette convention :
🔹 Renforcer la coopération judiciaire entre les deux pays en matière de transfèrement des condamnés.

🔹 Garantir le respect des droits fondamentaux des détenus, en conformité avec les normes internationales.

🔹 Faciliter la réhabilitation et la réintégration des détenus dans leur pays d’origine.

Lors de cette session plénière, les débats ont permis d’apporter des éclairages essentiels sur le texte, notamment grâce à l’intervention de S.E. Mme @YassineFall, Ministre de l’Intégration Africaine et des Affaires Étrangères, qui a répondu aux questions des députés avant l’adoption du projet de loi.

*Unanimous Adoption of the Bill on Assistance to Detainees and the Transfer of Convicted Persons between Senegal and Morocco 🇸🇳🇲🇦.*

The National Assembly of Senegal has unanimously adopted Bill No. 03/2025 authorizing the ratification of the Convention between Senegal and #Morocco on assistance to detainees and the transfer of convicted persons.

Objectives of this convention:

🔹 Strengthen judicial cooperation between the two countries regarding the transfer of convicted persons.

🔹 Ensure respect for the fundamental rights of detainees, in compliance with international standards.

🔹 Facilitate the rehabilitation and reintegration of detainees in their home country.

During this plenary session, discussions provided essential clarifications on the text, particularly through the intervention of H.E. Ms. Yassine Fall, Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, who addressed the deputies’ questions before the bill was adopted.

Son Excellence Madame @YassineFall, Ministre de l’Intégration Africaine et des Affaires étrangères du Sénégal, a pris part à la réunion extraordinaire du Conseil des Ministres des Affaires étrangères de l’OCI, Organisation de la Conférence Islamique, tenue le 7 mars 2025, à Djeddhah, Royaume d’Arabie Saoudite.

Les questions évoquées concernent :
• le retour au sein de l’OCI de la République Arabe Syrienne qui avait été suspendue ;
• ⁠l’agression Israélienne contre le peuple Palestinien et le rejet de toutes formes d’annexion ou d’expulsion de palestiniens de leur terre et le plan de reconstruction de #Gaza.

Elle a souligné le rôle joué par le Sénégal, en tant que Président du Comité des Nations Unies pour l'exercice des droits inaliénables du Peuple Palestinien, et réitéré la nécessité d’un dialogue sérieux aboutissant sur la création d’une Palestine indépendante avec Jérusalem-Est comme capitale, vivant côte à côte avec #Israël, en paix et en sécurité, à l’intérieur de frontières sures et internationalement reconnues.

Her Excellency Madam @YassineFall, Senegal’s Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, participated in the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held on March 7, 2025, in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The topics discussed included:
• The reinstatement of the Syrian Arab Republic within the OIC following its suspension;
• The Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, the rejection of all forms of annexation or expulsion of Palestinians from their land, and the plan for the reconstruction of Gaza.

She highlighted Senegal’s role as Chair of the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People and reiterated the need for a serious dialogue leading to the establishment of an independent Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital, coexisting peacefully and securely with Israel within safe and internationally recognized borders.
