My horse: has been eating grass her entire life
Me, who has never tasted grass: tries to direct her to the “best” patches like I’m a connoisseur of grass
I absolutely LOVE what I do, but working with horses is still work. I feel like a lot of people think that we “get to” work with horses and that we spend our entire day feeling the way they do when they come out to ride their horse(s) or take lessons or do whatever.

Ya know it's funny how horses naturally were these tough sturdy little mustangs and humans were like "nah, let's breed them so they move pretty and go lame if you look at them wrong"
