A New Dawn for Kwara North: A Promise of Purpose and Progress
By Comrade Alhassan Mamman Baba
My beloved people of Kwara North,
Today, I speak to you not as a politician, not as a public figure—but as one of you. A son of this land, born of its struggles, shaped by its hopes,
have not lost their strength. We have not lost our pride. We have not lost our dreams.
We are a people of dignity. We are farmers who feed the nation. Traders who build businesses from nothing. Teachers who nurture futures, and youths whose talents light up the world when given
it is something we build. Together.
If we stand united, we will not only change our story—we will inspire the entire state.
Let us rise.
Let us act.
Let us build a Kwara North that works for all of us, not just a few.
Because we deserve it.
Because our children deserve it.
must hold our leaders accountable—not to shame them, but to shape them. We must demand performance, not just presence. We must choose people of vision, of character, of action—not those who come with sweet words and empty hands.
My people, the future is not something we wait for
only come when we rise as one—Edu, Patigi, Baruten, Kaiama, Moro—not divided by tribe or party, but united by purpose.
Let the elites hear us. Let the policymakers see us. Let the nation know: Kwara North is ready—not for pity, but for power. Not for handouts, but for honor.
We
children, roads that connect our towns, healthcare that saves our mothers, and opportunities that keep our youths from migrating in despair.
We don’t want promises. We want plans.
We don’t want speeches. We want solutions.
We don’t want politics. We want progress.
And it will
a chance.
And yet, year after year, we’ve been asked to wait—to be patient—as others decide our fate.
That time is over. A new dawn must begin.
This is not just about elections. This is about redemption. This is about claiming what is rightfully ours: quality education for our
nothing is beyond our reach.
In the spirit of peace, love, and shared progress, I invite all of us to work together. Let us build the future our children will be proud to inherit.
Thank you, and may unity continue to be our greatest strength.
Unity as a Catalyst for Development in Kwara North
By Comrade Alhassan Mamman Baba
Distinguished colleagues, respected elders, and fellow citizens of Kwara North,
Today, I rise to speak not only as an advocate for progress, but as a son of the soil—committed to the vision of
a region where unity is not a slogan, but a strategy for transformation.
Our message is simple, yet powerful: the time has come for us to build bonds that work, relationships that empower, and communities that grow together. Development will not arrive through division. Progress
but across the entire region, seeking like-minded individuals who share in this dream of a better tomorrow.
Let us not wait for external solutions to local challenges. Let us be bold enough to forge bonds, share ideas, and lift each other-because when Kwara North stands united,
cooperation is the key to lasting development. This is not just a statistic-it is a call to action.
In Kwara North, our narrative must change. We must move from pockets of isolated effort to a united front for development. We must reach out-not just within our local governments-
sector—foster collaboration and empower one another to move forward.
We must also confront the historical truth that ethnic and regional divisions have too often slowed our nation’s growth. According to the 2023 Afrobarometer survey, 67% of Nigerians believe that community
mission of grassroots organizations like the Kwarabuild Tech Community, which since 2018 has brought together young minds across our state to innovate, create, and build solutions for the future. What they are doing in the tech space is what we must all begin to do across every
Flagpole hoisting, set for May 19, 2025—a symbolic act that reaffirms our commitment to national cohesion and regional progress. That event is not just ceremonial; it is a statement of who we are and who we aspire to become.
The emphasis on “building bonds” also echoes the
will not flourish where brotherhood is lacking.
This belief aligns with a broader movement currently sweeping through Kwara North—a movement that values collaboration, dialogue, and shared responsibility. It is a movement reflected in recent state initiatives like the Unity
ambition, but from collective action and shared responsibility.
Together, we can rewrite the story of Kwara North. Together, we can build the future our people deserve.
Thank you.
Building Bonds, Building Communities: A Call for Collective Development
By Comrade Alhassan Mamman Baba
Today presents yet another opportunity—not just to speak—but to act in the direction of unity and progress. It is a new day to build relationships that work for all parties,
and to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood that hold the fabric of our society together.
We must never underestimate the power of unity. The bond of brotherhood, when nurtured with sincerity and purpose, becomes a force that drives transformation. As we each play our roles in
must change—but it will only change when we all come together with a united purpose, with open hearts, and with a shared resolve to lift our communities through peace, dialogue, and cooperation.
Let this day be a reminder that our greatest progress will not come from personal
