“Ultimately, arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say.”
― Edward Snowden
@AlexanderDioni9@caitoz@ContraPoints Calling staunch and unflinching opposition to a literal, ongoing genocide as a "purity test" makes me think you are not a good person. At all.
.@HaleyforMI's campaign is a combination of empty slogans, racist attacks against her opponent and $60 million in dark money propping her up. The issue isn't how she speaks. It's the fact that she thinks we don't deserve free healthcare, or that kids in Michigan schools don't deserve warm meals or that our teachers don't deserve more funding and help. Yes she's a terrible communicator, but more importantly, she's a corporate stooge that only wants to win to advance the interests of her donors.
@hilaryr Lady you're arguing that we need to just keep helping Israel murder children and be quiet about it.
Go back to brunch. Or hell. Wherever you want to go.
This clip is truly incredible.
Wolf Blitzer announces The Wall Street Journal reporters as award winners for uncovering Trump’s Epstein connections. As Wolf reads off everything that happened—the $20B lawsuit, the reporters' personal info being leaked, getting banned from Air Force One—Trump just sits there shrugging and smiling.
Then Trump actually greets them and shakes their hands as they come up to take the stage.
@AnneHerzberg14@TheDemocrats I hate that I have to live in a world with people like you, who support death based on religion, and theft is allowed because people who you believe are in your tribe have appetites for more than what they already have.
@brainnotonyett This kid is whining about someone telling us how our representatives are failing us and she's calling it "ratfucking" because she doesn't like the truth. Imagine being her age and standing with the status quo. How does that even happen?
