This #DisabilityPrideMonth, we wanted to lift up some of the submissions we received through our State Public Health Autism Resource Center's celebrating #AutisticJoy opportunity. We're excited to share a poem, "Autistic Joy," by Hari Srinivasan. #ActuallyAutistic#Neurodiversity
The idea of celebrating #AutisticJoy is not meant to minimize any of the challenges Autistic people face. It is meant to shift the perspectives of providers that care for Autistic people & the general public so they see that Autistic people are more than just their challenges.
