We are sad to announce that we cancelled the Alternative Muscle Club meeting for this year due to ongoing uncertainty over COVID-19 and to preserve the health of meeting attendees.

We hope to announce our new meeting date in 2021.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Prof. John Squire. He has been a guru in the muscle field and an outstanding mentor. In his more than 120 articles and books, John explored the basic structural principle of muscle contraction.
