African Minerals and Geosciences Centre (AMGC) received Prof. Amos Majule from Institute of Resource Assessment (IRA), University of Dar as Salaam (UDSM). Prof. Majule paid a short familiarization visit to the activities of the Centre.
An official visit by the Geological Survey of Tanzania (GST) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Mussa Daniel Budeba accompanied by Mr. Maruvuko Msechu , Acting Director of Geological Services Directorate and Manager of applied Geology.

AMGC Director General Participated in the 5th Annual Sudan International Mining Business Forum & Exhibition held from 18th to 20th February 2020 in Khartoum, SUDAN. Mr Shaddad was honored by H.E. Prof. Tawer, the member of the Sovereign Council of the Government of Sudan.
A formal agreement was signed on 6th February 2020 in Kampala, Uganda between ICGLR and AMGC. The agreement is regarding a working plan and modalities of operations of a highly sophisticated and state of art Analytical Finger Printing (AFP) laboratory.
