Team AMG and I had the pleasure of walking in the Apalachicola Red, White & Blue Parade, one of North Florida’s greatest Independence Day traditions!
One of my favorite parts of this campaign is getting to experience the traditions that bring our communities together. I’m grateful to my husband for joining me along the route to share these special North Florida traditions with our son and teach him the value of community, service, and civic engagement from an early age.
Shout out to Allen and Jeannie Boyd for letting us outfit the gator and ride in the parade!!
Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello or take a sign, cheered us on, and celebrated with us along the route. Wishing everyone a happy and safe Independence Day! 🇺🇸❤️💙
See you at Tom Brown Park tonight, Tallahassee 💙❤️
Last night was a reminder that this campaign is about a community of people that care deeply and passionately about the district we all call home.
I’m deeply grateful to Sheriff Walt McNeil, Sean and Dr. Audra Pittman, Screven and Sabrena Watson, Mutaqee Akbar, Sam Peltier, and Bill Graham and Shelley Hill for hosting such a special evening and for believing in this campaign. Your support means more than I can put into words.
As we closed out the quarter, I found myself reflecting on how far this campaign has come. From conversations around dining tables, at festivals, at protests, to building a truly grassroots movement across all 16 counties of this district. Every person who has donated, volunteered, hosted, shared a post, put up a yard sign, or simply encouraged us along the way has helped get us here. Thank you for standing with us. T-minus 48 days until Election Day!
⏰ MIDNIGHT DEADLINE ⏰
I know you’re probably seeing a lot of these right now, but TONIGHT is the last night of our fundraising quarter, and we are racing to hit our goal before the clock runs out.

We’ve built a people-powered movement focused on lowering costs, protecting healthcare, supporting our farmers, and delivering real results for North Florida, so that EVERYONE can thrive where they live.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time to contribute, this is it. Please chip in before midnight and help us close out this last quarter before the primary as strong as possible. Let’s prove that North Florida is ready for leadership that puts people first!
Thank you to everyone who came out to Blue Tavern for the latest Real Talk: Candidate Q&A session!
I appreciated the opportunity to participate in a thoughtful discussion about the problems that we’re facing as a community in Northwest Florida. It was great to share the stage with PJ Perez and Jeremy Matlow, and to connect with neighbors from across the area.
Thank you again to Carrie and the Blue Tavern team for having us! 💙
My heart is with my Venezuelan friends around the globe. As a former international AID worker, I can tell you UNICEF does good work and will get supplies where they need to go. Please consider helping with whatever you can as they respond to the disaster caused by the earthquakes there. Thank you to the teams from Virginia and California who are supporting with search and rescue.

I’ll be at Blue Tavern this Sunday for their Real Talk: Candidate Q&A series!
If you’re interested in learning more about me, asking questions about my platform, or discussing the issues affecting our community, I hope you’ll join us. Thank you to Carrie and everyone at Blue Tavern for hosting this event and providing a space where community members can engage with the people seeking to represent them.
I’m looking forward to a great conversation and hope to see you there!
I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the @FloridaEA, representing nearly 125,000 teachers, education staff, and higher education professionals across our state.
Our teachers and school staff deserve leaders who will fight for strong public schools, affordable higher education, and the resources students need to succeed no matter their ZIP code. In Congress, I’ll always stand with the educators who invest in the next generation every single day.
From Florida to Connecticut, our family is teachers’ union strong, so I understand the importance of standing up for educators and the vital role they play in our communities. It makes receiving this endorsement especially meaningful to me and I am very grateful to FEA for their trust and support.
Let’s build a stronger future for Florida’s students, educators, and families together 🍎📚
It was so nice to be back at the Gallery of Art 850 in Panama City this week. Spending the evening talking with folks about the upcoming election and what we need from our next rep in Congress always makes me feel energized and grateful.
Thank you to everyone who came out to meet me or to hear from me again, and to our incredible volunteers Rona and Jana for helping with set up and spreading the word. A huge thank you to Mark and Kim for having us and always lending their beautiful space to our team 💙
My son is here today because I was lucky during a high-risk pregnancy. Families deserve better than luck of the draw.
Four years after Dobbs, this isn’t political for me. It’s personal.
Today marks four years since the Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade and changed reproductive healthcare in America.
In 2022, months before I found out I was about to embark on a multi-year infertility journey, I offered a perspective many weren’t talking about: these laws would affect people who desperately want children just as much as those who do not. Restricting reproductive healthcare puts pregnancies at risk, jeopardizes fertility treatments, and makes it harder for doctors to provide lifesaving care.
Four years later, we’ve seen those fears become reality.
Reproductive freedom is about the freedom to build a family if you want to, the freedom to receive timely medical care, and the freedom to make deeply personal decisions without politicians standing in the exam room. Freedom means trusting people with their own futures.
As your representative in Congress, I won’t stop fighting until that freedom is restored.
Primary Day is eight Tuesdays away and accountability is on the ballot in Florida’s District 2 🗳️
Supporting this campaign means expecting more from Congress again. It means refusing to accept dysfunction, division, and political theater as the norm. I expect leaders who are willing to work across the aisle, put people over party, and remember that public office is about service. I expect members of Congress to show up, do the work, and fight every day to deliver real results for the communities that sent them there.
If those are your expectations too, I’d be honored to earn your vote on August 18. Support us at https://t.co/v23mZY2i93 🇺🇸💙
Last week, I had the honor of being recognized and celebrating alongside so many incredible women at Tallahassee Woman Magazine’s Women Who Mean Business Awards. I’m deeply grateful for the recognition and inspired by the leaders, entrepreneurs, advocates, and public servants who make our community stronger every day.
Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees, and a special congratulations to Tomica King-Jackson, recipient of the 2026 Service Award!
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Michelle Mitcham for putting together such an extraordinary event and for her unwavering dedication to empowering women and creating spaces where women can lead, connect, and lift one another up. It was a privilege to share such a meaningful evening with so many women making a difference. 💙
🍉☀️ Team AMG had a blast joining the parade at the Watermelon Festival in Monticello!
A huge thank you to the Jefferson County Democrats for welcoming us onto their float and making us part of such a fun community tradition. What a wonderful way for the team to spend the day celebrating with neighbors, waving to friends old and new, and enjoying everything that makes Jefferson County so special 💙
Honored to join neighbors, faith leaders, and community members this morning for the Juneteenth Prayer Breakfast in Quincy. Particularly blessed to know Dr. Tracey Stallworth who we have to thank for this morning's event.
Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, but also a reminder that progress is built by generations of people whose service, sacrifice, and stewardship made a more just future possible. Grateful for the opportunity to reflect and celebrate with so many dedicated people committed to strengthening our communities!
We’re two months away from our primary!
Be sure to verify your voter registration status to ensure you haven’t been marked as an inactive voter, and confirm that you’re registered with the party you intend to vote with at the polls. If that person is me, you’ll need to be registered as a Democrat to vote on August 18 🗳️

Honored to earn the endorsement of June Piscitelli, a trailblazer who has spent decades helping elect Democratic pro-choice women across Florida 💙
June has dedicated her career to opening doors for women in public service, and I’m incredibly grateful to have her support in this campaign. Her faith in our team means so much because she understands what’s at stake for Florida families and the importance of electing leaders who will protect healthcare and healthcare freedom, defend our rights, and deliver real results!
Now that this endorsement is public, I want to thank everyone in the Northwest Florida and Big Bend chapters of the AFL-CIO for their support throughout the interview and endorsement process. A special thank you to Jordan Scott, James Lingley, Robin Goodman, and the entire CLC and Big Bend counsels. I had a wonderful time attending the 2026 COPE Endorsing Convention this past weekend with my dad!
I’m honored to be endorsed alongside so many candidates fighting for working families across Florida, including Maxwell Alejandro Frost, US Rep Darren Soto, Rep. Lois Frankel, David Jolly, Emily Gregory, Cindy Banyai, Jennifer Jenkins, Leela Gray, Pia Dandiya, Kathy Castor, Allison Tant, and so many others. I'm especially humbled to be honored alongside Gwen Graham who was the last Democrat to serve the Big Bend and whose service never stopped.
Together, we’re building a Florida that works for working families, protects the freedom to organize, and delivers real results for the people who keep our state running ✊🇺🇸💙
✊ UNION BACKED ✊
I’m honored to earn the endorsement of the @FLAFLCIO.
Congressional District 2 runs on the hard work of teachers, nurses, first responders, tradespeople, public employees, and the workers who keep our farms, ranches, and local businesses moving. They deserve a representative who will fight for good-paying jobs, affordable healthcare, retirement security, and the right to organize.
For too long, working families in North Florida have watched costs go up while Congress gets bogged down in politics and special interests. I’m running to change that and I’m honored to have labor’s support and ready to take North Florida’s voice to Washington. 💪🇺🇸
