Today, in 2026, People aren't just losing faith in one party, they are losing faith in the political system itself.

They look around, see no credible alternative, no leader who inspires confidence, and no direction worth believing in.

When a democracy leaves its citizens with no leader to trust, no party to believe in and no alternative to hope for, the problem is much bigger than an election.

A democracy becomes fragile when people stop asking, “Who should we vote for?” and start asking, “Is there anyone left worth voting for?”

That sense of political helplessness may be one of the darkest signs of our times.
