@theposh 👀 reckon this is a good match. Will defo be interesting.

@ManCity Funny how just a few weeks ago, football fans united to want Spurs relegated to the Championship. Now, here we all are wanting you cheating bastards to be relegated to The National League or disbanded altogether. #united

I asked some friends of mine to do a few lines of my poem ‘Ode To Square Chapel’ in support of my quest to help #SaveSquareChapelArts in Halifax.
Without hesitation… they all chipped in. 🙌
It’s what friends are for.
Please re-post if you enjoy! x

@BrentfordHive @jmatipfanclub I wondered whether our Chief might try and bring him in over the summer and cash in on Thiago.

@BeesBreakdown Ohhhhh... This is why Cristiano had his hissy fit and stormed off. Couldn't face being outclassed by Dams. Makes sense now.

Just found out about this story over on Linked In. Well done everyone involved and my thoughts go to Paul and his loved ones. What a match to pick. You Bees! #BrentfordFC https://t.co/L3ZjVXppVP

@thomasLatchford … in The Champions League!

[AM LEWIS ✍️ @AMLEWIS_creates]

@thomasLatchford Being a #BrentfordFC fan who has travelled up and down the country seeing them (more often than not lose) in Divs 3 & 4, before enjoying the Premier League far more than I expected, I’d still take this option. Keeping us in Div 1 though, obviously! And stop putting nonChampions…

@ExtremeFootbal4 Liverpool v Arsenal. Talk about easy.

The things footballers have done to escape from Harry Redknapp.

[The Away Fans @theawayfans]

One of the strangest Premier League stories of the 1990s involved West Ham and Chile defender Javier Margas. 😭

Harry Redknapp signed Margas after watching him at the 1998 World Cup, but the move never really settled. His wife struggled badly with life in England and eventually returned to Chile, while Margas remained in a hotel. Then one day, he simply failed to turn up for training.

Redknapp went to check on him and found the room half-empty with the first-floor window wide open.

“He’d left half his gear there, the window was open… he obviously took what he needed, jumped out the window and legged it.”

Margas had gone back to Chile. West Ham never saw him again.

He still left England with a 1999 Intertoto Cup winners’ medal, but his West Ham career ended with one of football’s great disappearing acts.

Babasını yeni kaybeden genç kaleci, kritik penaltıyı kurtardıktan sonra rakip taraftarların desteğiyle karşılaştı. Futbolun en güzel anlarından biri.. ❤️
