Despite a great season from the QB the Panthers will be letting Colin Kaepernick test Free Agency. The team may look to bring him back during the period but we’ll see what happens there

The Panthers lost a tough divisional game against the Falcons on the road 52-31 going to 4-4. The defense proved to be a good unit although the offense struggled. DJ Moore had another amazing performance with 9 catches for 251 yards and 3 TD’s. Next up are the Patriots at home.

A lot of injuries from practice this week ahead of a divisional game @ ATL. Gilmore and Bouye both strained quads, Shaq dislocated his wrist and Armah had some trouble with his hip flexor. They’re expected to be back next week but along with Paradis out this team is down bad atm

As Carolina travels to MetLife this week the offense wants to be more consistent. The Carolina OC is looking for the WR’s to make more plays and take pressure off of Kaep, Moore and CMC. “We need plays from our young guys to help those elite talents jobs easier.”

Another Panthers defender, Shaq Thompson, is out this week after straining his quad in practice. Just as the Panthers defense was starting to get healthy another blow but the Panthers like their depth at LB according to their D Coordinator. Thompson is expected back next week.

Yetur Gross Matos has proven to be a superstar through 5 games this season. 8 TFL’s and 4 sacks so far. His development has been amazing in year 2. He wasn’t the camp standout like Derrick Brown was but he’ll coming he to grow and be great for this defense

A good update for the Panthers with Donte Jackson on the mend from a torn labrum, a vital part of this Panthers defense back in the fold from a unit that’s struggling with injuries to key players still with Burns and Brown still out for a couple more weeks.

Stephon Gilmore has resigned at 22 mil for next year. Gilmore’s been great this year holding every #1 WR he’s faced under 100 yards. Consistent in coverage, he continues to take away your favorite option. As the season goes on you’ll see this defense get healthy and be a top unit

In week 5 the Panthers drop another game but this time at home, against the Eagles. DJ Moore had a HUGE game although the turnovers were a lot more prevalent than previous games. This puts them at 2-3 in a tough NFC after this 3 game losing streak.

I’m week 4 the Panthers drop a close one 44-41 to the Cowboys in Dallas. Tough loss as Kaep threw a pick on the final drive that led to the loss. CMC also fumbled the ball early for another tough turnover. The defense struggled with some of their best players out. Next up, Eagles

Guard Dennis Daley dislocated his shoulder in practice and will sit out due to the shoulder not feeling ready. He’ll be out Sunday against the Cowboys. Also on the injured list are Donte Jackson and Brian Burns out with shoulder injuries and Derrick Brown with a rib injury

A couple more names added to the injury list for the Panthers. An MRI confirms that Brian Burns has a torn labrum and will be out for 4 weeks and Derrick Brown has a broken rib and will be out 5 weeks. Donte Jackson is still recovering from a torn labrum and is still out.

Carolina struggled in a short week on Thursday night at the Texans. They couldn’t get going on either side of the ball, showing signs that this team is nkt quite a contender. Houston played a clean game and dominated because of it. Next up the Cowboys in DAL #KeepPounding #AMLoB
