I’m listening to an audiobook and trying to Mr Higgins the narrator’s accent. She’s reading as an “american” but I hear a slight Irish lilt (and not just with the Irish character) and then she said “oot” instead of “out” By George! I think I’ve got it! She’s Newfoundlander. 💡🤷‍♀️

Something has come up in my writing and I don’t know if it bugs me.

Almost all the characters have two syllable names. Not on purpose, of course, but just an interesting pattern I noticed.
