This is the best one by far. Shoutout to the mosque uncle who not only went into baby formula procurement hyperdrive, he also got mad at the negligent partner, didnât flinch when she corrected him to explain she wasnât Muslim, and arranged delivery because he wouldnât let her take a bus to pick up the baby milk.
This entire post is based on misunderstandings of Islamic law, scripture, and terminology. Letâs clarify each point with what the Qurâan and classical jurists actually sayârather than 15-second TikTok clichĂŠs:
1. âA womanâs testimony is half of a manâs.â
This is not a universal rule in Islam.
The Qurâanic verse (2:282) refers specifically to a commercial contract dispute in 7th-century Arabiaâan environment where women had little exposure to business transactions.
In Islamic law:
â˘A womanâs testimony = a manâs in all criminal cases,
â˘= a manâs in marriage, divorce, custody, property, and inheritance disputes,
â˘and is required exclusively in cases where men cannot testify (e.g., childbirth).
Context-specific â ontological inferiority.
⸝
2. âIslam lets a man hit his wife.â
Another mistranslation.
The word âwaá¸ribĹŤhunnaâ (4:34) does NOT mean âhitâ in classical Arabic in this context.
All four Sunni madhÄhib agree that:
â˘It prohibits harm, bruising, humiliation, or force,
â˘And most jurists interpret it as symbolic,
â˘While scholars like Ibn ĘżAbbÄs and al-ᚏabarÄŤ said it means âseparate from herâ,
â˘And the Prophet  said: âDo not strike the female servants of Allah.â (Abu Dawud)
He never struck a woman and condemned those who did.
⸝
3. âWhy romanticize the hijab?â
Hijab is not about male control.
It is a religious symbol of dignity, chosen by millions of womenâscholars, activists, doctorsâacross the world.
Western culture romanticizes:
â˘bikinis,
â˘miniskirts,
â˘cosmetic surgery,
â˘sexualization for profitâŚ
Why is a womanâs modesty the one expression that threatens people?
⸝
4. âIslam treats women like property.â
Islam was the first civilization in history to give women:
â˘the right to own property,
â˘the right to initiate divorce,
â˘the right to inherit,
â˘the right to education,
â˘the right to keep their maiden name,
â˘the right to refuse a marriage,
â˘financial maintenance without obligation to work.
Compare that to Europe, where:
â˘Women could not own property until the late 19th century,
â˘Wife-beating was legal until 1879,
â˘Marital rape was legal until the 1990s.
But Islam is âoppressiveâ?
If the best arguments against Islam come from misunderstandings, mistranslations, and TikTok rants⌠what does that say about the strength of the criticisms?
Ben Shapiro will say with a straight face that Israel has a claim to Palestinian land based on some shit from 3000 years ago and then tell people they aren't entitled to live in the city they were born in
This should be a massive scandal.
Dutch police concluded that violent Maccabi hooligans were closely linked to the IDF - and determined to cause "serious violence".
Your government lied to you.
Your media lied to you.
And they smeared Birmingham to defend Israeli hooligans!
Sky News has not mentioned the name of a SINGLE Palestinian hostage - despite 2000 being released vs 20 Israeli hostages!
Not a SINGLE word for the 1000s of Palestinian hostages that have limbs missing, blinded (literal) by abuse & tortured to deathâŚ.
Your racism is sickening!
The @OxfordUnion removed a portion of my speech for referencing booby-trapped toys left by Israelis for Lebanese children in the 80s. They claimed I was inciting to violence by stating well-documented facts. Here, it seems zionist demons are still up to their old tricks.
Theyâve all been cowards there. Niko has been voted because heâs an outsider and heâs not in their celebrity world. Nothing to do with the game #traitors#celebritytraitors
1) This is based on conflating Israel with Jewish people.
2) The anti-Palestinian racism in all of this is utterly shameless.
Yesterday, Israel killed dozens of Palestinians, as it does every day.
They never talk about respecting the grief of British Palestinians.
A hero.
He's a young Israeli refusenik who was imprisoned for refusing to serve in Israel's genocidal army.
He's now broken into Gaza - in an attempt to break Israel's genocidal siege.
History remembers people like Itamar as moral titans.
This is wrong. Locking down A&E of all hospitals in Manchester because 4 Jews are horrifically attacked at 1 synagogue is disproportionate exceptionalism & gross disservice to thousands of residents the A&E serves which is already under extreme pressure. No lockdown at Southport murders or when Imam knifed last week or Muslims are attacked or Black ppl are stabbed or driver in Liverpool drives through parade etc etc
Not only are the two men in the pictures not the same, and not Hamas, but one of them is a globally famous British politician called George Galloway!
The shameless and public dishonesty of the Israeli government is a sight to behold.
But then again, they hired @EylonALevy soâŚ
This is genuinely very frightening.
Israel are now describing the flotilla as terrorists.
And we know what Israel do to civilians they brand as 'terrorists'.
They've spent two years flying spy planes for the IOF, sending weapons and even trying to justify war crimes.
Now they'll "recognise" what's left of it.
people have been asking y'all to boycott Disney for their ties to the genocide in gaza and no one listened.
a white man gets fired and suddenly, everyone is coming together to bring disney down?? this is how i know y'all don't give a fuck about black and brown lives.
