I would like to point out that none of the dialogue is invented, but real: which is why I initially wanted to make a documentary. But then I decided to make a film with actors, to make it more accessible even to those who don't like documentaries. The words that Michael's character says in my film were pronounced by himself in interviews or reported by those who knew him or participated in those scenes in his real life. The purpose of the film remains to show the less public part of him: his spiritual life, his suffering and his loneliness. The film also illustrates his empathy for the suffering of others and the help he gave to so many throughout his life. I hope that with my minimalist film I managed to show his innocence, because a man like him, with such goodness, generosity and faith, could not harm anyone.

Michael Jackson and his relationship with food was a complex love affair. I'd say that his relationship with food was a fascinating paradox.
Michael's statement, "I hate food," reflected his ambivalence towards eating. This sentiment was not rooted in disdain for taste or enjoyment but rather in his intense focus on his career and the pressures that came with it. For him food often seemed like a distraction from his artistic pursuits and rigorous work ethic. His slender frame and meticulous diet were testament to his disciplined lifestyle, often dictated by the demands of his performances and public appearances.
While he publicly claimed to hate food, his enjoyment of certain dishes like fried chicken, potato salad, and coleslaw revealed a more nuanced reality. These classic American dishes might seem unremarkable to some, but they held a special place in Michael's heart, offering a taste of home.
In my film "A Gift from God," there is a scene that showcases Michael Jackson indulging in his favorite foods. This moment offers a rare glimpse into a more relaxed and personal side of the pop icon. In the scene, Michael is seen in a break during a rehearsal, savoring fried chicken, potato salad, and coleslaw, enjoying the simple pleasures of these beloved dishes. This portrayal not only humanizes him but also highlights the importance of these comfort foods in providing a sense of normalcy and joy amidst his extraordinary life.

In a few days the film “A Gift from God”, about Michael Jackson and his faith, will be in distribution.
I am pleased to inform the fans that part of the money raised from the sale of this film will go to finance someone else's project regarding Michael's love of books and culture. We will take into consideration any form of tribute: book, documentary, film, play, song etc. The one chosen will be fully financed and produced by us.
Michael read all the time, not just the Bible, but everything: he says it himself. Like his relationship with faith, his love of books is also a lesser-discussed aspect of his personality.
I think we must also show these aspects, which are more intimate and which complete the image we have of him. We all know him as an incomparable entertainer, but it is important to see even the most hidden and very beautiful aspects of his personality, like faith and culture. My film is about his faith, so let's leave room for someone else to show Michael’s love for books. And we will be there to help him/her. For us it is a further way to pay homage to Michael's memory.

Michael Jackson was amazing while on stage, he was kind and cheerful with his collaborators (who agree that they always had a lot of fun while working with him), but once the limelight went out, the king of pop became introverted, shy and rather silent. He loved reading - he says it himself: "I read everything, all the time".
Very much a believer, he attributed his talent to God, stating: "My talent is not my merit, it is a gift that comes from God."
In the film “A Gift from God” we will see precisely - and above all - these moments of his life. Therefore, don't expect spectacular things because in his intimacy Michael was not spectacular. But he was inspiring and endearing and that made us love him even more. His humanity is the basis of my decision to make this film.
