Five years ago I stumbled into MHS to see for myself what all the fuss was about surrounding their new HBC. Little did I know, I would meet more than one person who would change the course of my career, and life.

@GSD411 was one of those people. This man bleeds Moody blue. You can argue that it’s all he has known for 26 years, but I’ll argue it is because he has more commitment, honor, and integrity than 99% of the people walking this earth.

I am humbled and honored to have stood by his side, if only for a brief moment of his career.

Coach Wiley, you set a bar that I will work my entire life to try and meet, and I know I am not the only one. The impact that you have had on your students and community can never be overstated.

To a friend, role model, and the greatest Moody Blue Devil I’ve ever met,

I'm not big on social, but I have to let y’all know what this year has meant to me.

It has been the greatest honor of my career to focus 100% on @411flagfball and @MoodyFBall this year, ensuring my athletes made it to the dance, were prepared, and had the chance to make history. Helping to lead both of these teams to a state championship title is indescribable. I couldn’t be any more proud of every one of these athletes.

I can never claim these blue maps for myself. The hard work and determination of these student-athletes brought them to this stage, and I am truly humbled to stand beside them. Both teams were challenged by the entire coaching staff to be part of something greater than themselves. They answered spectacularly.

I hope you all realize that your commitment, belief in something bigger than yourselves, and determination to succeed have not only earned you this taste of glory, but also given you the recipe for success in life.

I am honored to be part of your journey. Thank you for trusting me, putting in the work, and allowing me to stand beside you for these life-changing accomplishments. Congratulations, guys. You’ll never forget these moments, and I’ll never forget any of you!
