The Waqf (Amendment) Bill is a weapon aimed at marginalising Muslims and usurping their personal laws and property rights.

This attack on the Constitution by the RSS, BJP and their allies is aimed at Muslims today but sets a precedent to target other communities in the future.

As a gesture of affection towards the community, Sr. Leader of the Islands, Ms. Shanta Laxman Singh madam presented an antique and unique Indian Rupee Coin of 1919 to the President and GS of @AMSOANI that she received from her grandmother.

Programme concluded with Vote of Thanks offered by Jb. Abdul Waheed, Convenor, 100 Years Committee. Special appreciation was put forward for all volunteers, media team, editorial board and all EC members for successful conduct of the event.

Cultural groups of Oppana, Kolkali, Duff were also felicitated and honored by @AMSOANI for their performance during the event.

During the function, few noted personalities were felicitated by @AMSOANI for their dedicated efforts for the betterment of the community.

Felicitations were extended to Marhoom C Abdu, Founder Member, AMSO and Marhoom AP Mohammed. Awards were received by their sons.

Inaugural programme were followed by Cultural performances of Mappila Pattu by Ishalin Nilav Musical Troupe from Kerala led by Jb. Gafoor Kuttiyadi and Jb. Afeef.

Local talents also enthralled the audience with their performances.
